Rest In Peace, Natasha Richardson

It's just so sad. My heart goes out to her family. Rest in peace, Natasha.

  1. My friend's mom says this all the time and now I get it "God takes the flowers and leaves the weeds."

Bless you and bless your family Natasha

  2. What a lovely and classy lady. Sad to hear what happened to her and thinking of her family. Such a loss.

  3. I'm sure that her "Cabaret" soundtrack is available.
I sure would've liked to have seen her performances.
    She sure was pretty.

  4. Ummm...nice God, there, Emily! Jeez...

  5. Her family has been plagued with bad luck. Even called the "Redgrave curse".

She said her Mom was so involved in Marxist demonstrations and activism, that she felt like an adult by the time she was twelve.

Her Mom also sponsored bail (GBP 50,000.00) for a Guantanamo detainee.

  17. Her mother is a cunt but I have no idea if this woman was or not.

  18. So Emily, by that logic, everyone who doesn't die young or tragically is a "weed"? I'd like to introduce you to a little thing called logic. Have you met?

  19. Emily meant well. Most of us here aren't believers, Em. But, what you said was sweet. Some people are just childish and have no respect.

  20. Thank DD I really did just mean it as a thought :) didn't mean to make so many mad

  21. You aren't responsible for others and you're free to express your beliefs on here.

  22. Yes Emily you are free to express yourself and I think you are very sweet. But maybe think about the logic of that saying - or the lack of logic, to be perfectly accurate.

What's "God takes the flowers and leaves the weeds" even supposed to mean, really? Would you say that to a grieving family? Think about it.

Look up the word "specious" and you'll have something else to think about too.

  23. People said a lot of weird things to me when my son died, including "He's in a better place." I wanted to shout A BETTER PLACE IS HERE WITH HIS DAUGHTER. WTF? But, people mean well, you have to take it at a time when everything is hard to take. People don't know what to say sometimes.

  24. I am so sorry for her family. It's terrible to lose someone who has been sick for a long time, and has suffered a great deal, but to lose someone who seems to be fine one moment, and then gone the next, is just so hard to comprehend.
God bless her family, especially her boys, and grant them all peace.

  25. Truly one of the sadder and stranger stories I've heard lately. She goes out for a beginning ski lesson, takes a fall, gets back up and shakes it off - then dies. It is unimaginable, and my heart goes out to her loved ones.

  26. There might be more "believers" here than you realize, Dish... I think we just get tired of launching WW3 every time we speak up.

Besides, this is a celebrity gossip site. That's what most of us are here for. Needless to say there are a thousand blogs for the purpose of theological discussion/debate.

  27. I hope her husband & children are given the space & time by the hollywood machine to come to terms with their loss & find some peace of mind while adjusting to living without her.

Peace & love to them all.

  28. There are 1000's of gossip sites, but, only one is mine. This blog was started for one reason..I need a place to spout off. There are more non-Christians on here than Christians, I've noticed that for a fact. I think people are attracted to like minded people. But, Christians are certainly welcome as long as no one preaches to anyone else. I don't believe, I never have and I never will. I don't spout my beliefs to you everyday, because that's not my agenda. But, I'm the only one who will decide what this site is about. No one can intimidate me because there is no profit to be made here.

    Get a grip, sister.
I'm not a believer and "God takes the flowers and leaves the weeds."
makes absolutely no sense to me at all, however, that doesn't mean I have to be a big meanie about it!

  32. 11.14 they are good people then. you really can't beat a 'lefty'

There is nothing more scary than an unplanned death. We are meant to die when we are old.

Natasha was too young. And thats what Emily means when she says God takes the flowers and leaves the weeds.

It simply means that Natasha was taken too soon.
