Matilda sent these pretty photos, yep, it's the same here. We ended up getting 18 inches, how much did you get? I'm getting out in it today, I'm out of oranges. Heh.

  1. That looks beautiful, but I remember the havoc of last year's 18 inch snowfall right before Christmas all too well. This year we were bypassed by all the worst ice, etc. so far. I sure would like a little snow, though.

  2. Oh, it's pretty, but, this much snow is scary and it looks like more today. You start feeling trapped and desperate after awhile. I'm going to go stock up now before we get hit again.

  6. I would love to have a little snow, we hardly ever get it. If we do, it is maybe one inch, but that is Georgia for you. Those are such beautiful pictures!!

  7. Yep, that's how it looked here too. Official measurement for Loveland was 10" but I'm not in town. I actually sit in the foothills of the Rocky Mtns leading up to Estes Park and when I measured on the deck it was 14". I finally dug out my car this morning in my flip flops and knee length sweats. It's in the offical Colorado Rules that you must wear flip flops year round. Woke my ass up! The roads are good now my the rock driveway still sucks. Took three times to get it out.

  13. So pretty! I'm in Edmonton and we got a lot of snow a week ago, but now it's close to -40 and everything is frozen dry and hard. It's disgusting out. And the air is SO dry. I get electrical shocks from everything and my skin is cracked and flaking. I hate this place already and I only moved here 5 months ago.

  15. DD, what are clemintines? It must be something good if you got 20 lbs.

In south Louisiana, we got 4 inches---of mud!!! I would love to see and play in that snow. But after that, I wouldn't know what to do. I'd probably have a heart attack trying to walk in it!!!
But it is gorgeous and I really would like to see it!

Hell... I have rain here all the time, but nice warm rain, often with the sun shining at the same time....
