Bliiiiiiiiiizzard

Okay, this is a big snow, so far it's about a foot deep and it just keeps snowing. It hasn't stopped all day. You get a path cleared and turn around and it's all covered again. The old ladies are freeking out, it's the end of the world. LMAO! I love it, I don't have to take their old ass's to the store. But, I went over and asked, well, really, I was just being an asshole for my own enjoyment. I dug the car out and stuck my head into mom's door and clapped my mittens together and said "Come on, ladies, it's store day!" LOLOLOL. My mom is dumb as a box of rocks but, she sort of caught on that I was fucking with her head and got huffy. But, my senile old aunt jumped off that sofa in fighting mode. "We aint a goin' no place in this blizzard, you dumb fool! You tryin' to kill us all?!" I said, well, gee whiz and left laughing. The funniest part was a phone call my mom got while I was walking out, it must have been my other aunt..and my moms voice got all small and whiney and she said "We're barely makin' it, but, we're makin' it. We're survivors." I started laughing so loud she heard me and slammed the door behind me. I think she said "You fucker." LMAOOOOOO! Oh, god. They're barely makin' it? How? They have enough food to feed an army, the heat was blasting, soap opera's on the cable TV, water's fine..how the fuck are they in any hardship? The worst that could happen is they might run out of canned cat food and have to feed the strays chicken. They are such big ass liars.

I love snow days. Those old bitches never leave the house and I am home freeeeeeeee. I cleared a path for their stupid meals on wheels though. Mostly because I wanted to play in the snow. Wooooo, it's snowin"!

  2. Oh, we're snow sisters. It was just warm enough to snow for 2 days straight, and now it's friggin' -30C outside today and windy. You can shovel, but the shit just keeps blowing back.

Do you ever feel like just piling the snow in front of the old ladies' door so they can't get out until spring?? I think I would...

  3. LOL. I feel like nailing their fucking doors shut most of the time.

escrow, you said you were making bean soup the other day. Sounded so good, that's what I'm cooking, it's just about ready. And home made bread. In a snow storm. With plenty of smokes. Does it get any better than this?? Woooo!

  4. Pat you are always good for a great laugh. We are getting ours this evening and through tomorrow. 9 to 12 inches and below zero wind chills. Hope everyone stays dry and warm.

  8. Oh, Meissa, you have no idea. They cry to eveyone about how hard they have it and everyone has to call and check on them. My mom says "we aint got nuthin' and can't hardly walk, but, we don't complain. We're surviving." Fuck, it's such and act. I know she has money squirreled away from a life time of swindling people. They have it pretty good if you ask me. And she tries to make me her free slave.

  12. Hi DD! Good to hear(read)you in such a good mood! If I were in colder climates I would feel just like you do. Unfortunately(fortunately?) it's 83 and sunny here.

  14. Hey DD, not to be too nosey but just how many sisters does your mom have? Is she the oldest, youngest, etc. Are there any brothers? You said once before that your grandmother was great, how does she figure into all this crazieness? So many questions, I think we are really ripe for another story. Maybe being so cozy will put you in the mood. What do you say?

  15. O.K. I've mentioned before that I was one of the lucky ones. I grew up in a great family! My sister (who turned me on the DD) called me last night and asked me if I was Bayou Jane. I had to wonder what gave me away! Then I realized there couldn't be two people in this world with the same continuous shitty luck that I have and she had to eventually recognize me. (Sure hope I didn't lie about something along the way!) But there is one thing I'm VERY lucky about---I have a WONDERFUL sister and a GREAT brother-in-law! I can't complain there!!! Thanks for having this site so I could let her know.
    (Love you Linda!)

  17. -6F at the moment. Feels like -22F with windchill thrown in and that's warmer than it has been. We've seen -58F windchill temps here. It's dry though...so you can dress for it mostly.

  18. Pat,

Mae West was known for saying, "when I'm good I'm good but when I'm bad I'm BETTER!"

This is sooo true of you as well!

  19. Clarabell, my Grandmother was a hillbilly Cherokee and she was awesome. She had one son, Paul. He was kidnapped when he was two and she never saw him again until he was grown with 13 children of his own. He's still kickin' and they are great relatives. They live in Colorado. She then had 4 daughters, one has passed away. My Grandma died many years ago too.
