As you know, I have spent many months spelling to the Elementals for forgiveness over what happened here last year. The devastation my mother and her "friends" caused to my yard was unthinkable. Unforgivable. I have burned so much sage and given so many offerings to the Nature Spirits hoping to put things right. I have replanted as much as I can afford in rituals and told them I am sorry so many many times. Yesterday, I realized..they have forgiven.*
This is a volunteer Maple growing near the house, I left it because it's in a nice spot. Yesterday I took my dog and headed for the fenced area. I was taking out the old dead cornstalks, which are hard to remove. As I ripped them out, I saw that nearly every third one had been protecting a volunteer Maple tree for the Winter and Spring and I had 28 good sized Maples growing along the fence! Each one is positioned just right from the others and in a straight line!!! It looks exactly like someone spent a ton of money and landscaped them perfectly to make a privacy line. They are gorgeous!

Some would call this a fluke, a coincidence, but, I know better. In my heart I know, the Earth Spirits have come back and this is their gift. I am so thankful and happy that nature's order has been restored on this property and I will not let it be assaulted again. Ever.
28 Maples, 28 days in a woman's Moon cycle. Coincidence? I don't think so.

I hope people are afraid enough to stay away. & if that damn neighbor gives you sh** over the garden & your altar, tell her you have been "thinking" about her while giving oferings. ReplyDeleteThey never do anyway, which reminds me of a 911 call I made a few years ago. A guy was stabbing a woman. They asked, adress, name, how long have you lived there, what is your relationship with the people involved, do they have vicious dogs, how did you see the altercation..etc etc. I finally sceamed "he's killing her!" They sent a car a half hour later. The woman was stabbed 5 times.

Can a person conjure up (don't know if that's the right word) a friend or family member that they haven't talked or thought about in a while? and then all of a sudden they are ringing the door or phone? it happens to me all the time, now I am very choosey who I really think about. can this happen?? bima
ReplyDeleteDD, why would you have to ask forgiveness and perform rituals for something you didn't do? Might the elementals have landscaped your property line anyway, just because they know what happened and you deserve their blessing?

I wonder how fast they grow. They look pretty big for a year old! I'm so glad the Elementals are at peace with you. This is a reason for joy!

ReplyDeleteDD, the elementals forgave your mother before she did the deed. That is their nature and that is what they are showing you here - forgiveness is a gift that blesses the giver AND the receiver.
ReplyDeletePlease DD do what you can to follow their loving example and begin the process of forgiving your mother. You know in your heart that this will heal you in more ways than one. When she does you wrong, don't resist it! Ignore the deed, bless the do-er and the Goddess will do the rest! I know it's hard at first but it gets easier and the more you do it, the less power she will have to harm you - and the less she will want to harm you. This is how Nature brings peace to all her creatures - all you have to do is help her by bringing your thoughts, words and heart into alignment with Her.

I have to ask the same question that others before me have asked. Why do you have to make amends for something that was done to you, and devastated you? We all know that you would have done whatever was necessary to prevent the devastation visited on your garden and yard. It was done by crafty people who purposely watched and waited until they knew they had a window where you would be away. This was not connected to you in any way, except that evil people decided to take away something that you obviously enjoyed, and worked hard on. It really was as if they murdered that part of your life. I don't think you have anything to make amends for. Speaking as an outsider, it truly was horrifying. None of them, especially your mom, have any manners or sense.

ReplyDeleteBless you for trying. I disagree with DD that positive energy is ever wasted but I understand totally where she is coming from. Some people are just not in a place where they feel ready to do that. Maybe one day...
Christina, the Elementals are intelligent, but, like wild animals they will avoid a place where they have been hunted or injured. They will sometimes seek vengance. I must respect them and protect them. It's my responsibility.
