The changes in the oval office are really fun to look up. You Tube has lots of vids. Bush's office was full of western touches. Clintons was very red, white and blue. Obama replaced a bust of Churchill with one of Matin Luthor King and added some African pottery.

Anyways.. So the top pic is the 'old' oval office? Honestly? I like that WAY better than the bottom pictures. The 'new' oval office looks too monotone and kind of drab. It looks like a step back in time almost.
I actually like the yellow tones. Looks sunny and welcoming, I would totally take a cozy cat nap in there. The before looks very formal. Not bad, just like any other office, in which i would fall asleep bored out of my mind.
If he were decorating for the fall, it would be perfect. But I like my walls bright and clean looking. Makes my rooms look bigger and I feel less depressed in light rooms. Just sayin'!!
I have some purple in my house, I am white. I have some yellow as well. My daughter is making me crazy with her yellows, peacock blues in her new house. She needs to tone it down a bit. It could end up looking like a box of Crayola 64's exploded in there! Ahh..remember the box of 64? It was the dream of every kid! All the rich kids had them at school. 64 colors, wow, she's rich. I had the required crayons, thats it. I even remember the fat & flat crayons we had to use way back in the day. I dont even think kids use fat pencils anymore do they? We did. Till 3rd grade. It was a gigantic deal to graduate to the regular skinny pencils. But, ok...Obama's oval office is just temposary anyways, he's out in 2012, so no biggie. It will be Red, white & blue again when a Republican is back in there. I am neither, so which I don't really give a damn. There are NO good nor honest people in politics. None. ZERO! Thats all I care about. "Shut up Claree!! Nobody cares about that purple shit, all they care about is touchdowns & injuries!!"
