Sigh. This season House is going to sleep with Lisa Cuddy, his boss and head of the fancy pants hospital. I know, because I saw previews and this time it's real and not a product of House's imagination which lands him in a hut'o'nut, like last season.*
I am not alone in hating this turn of events on my favorite time waster. With Cuddy we get dialog like..Her:"I just want us to be friends." Him: "Funny...that's the last thing I want us to be."

Yeah. It's very UnHouse like and quite smarmily creepy. UnSexy. They are UnHousing him by making him in touch wiff his widdle feewings. I hate them. And she looks like an anorexic poodle which has always made viewers scratch their heads at his so called obsession. We can only conclude that drugs were not his downfall..it was bad taste in women.

Then there's Thirteen. Smokin', whip smart, bi-sexual, sloe eyed....and can he have an affair with her? Nope. Dialog with Thirteen includes gems like...Her: "I'm going to check out a new lesbian bar tonight." Him: (slack jawed, eyes a poppin') "You're life is AWWWesome."

And so..thanks to House's out of touch writers, I am no longer fantasizing about House. I wouldn't mind coffee with Thirteen though. I'd buy. Maybe she'll get her own spin off. Too bad they gave her Huntington's. Bad girls get Huntington's. Neurotic girls get House. The rest of us change channels.

I go to a real Dr. House, Dr, Jerry House for my menierres. I dont need a fake one. never watched this show. All shows eventually "jump the shark", it just has to happen.

I got tired of this show a long time ago, but we still occasionally watch because my husband likes it.
I thought his affair with the woman (I think) he met while in the mental hospital was very hot. The one who was married and decided to stay with her family.
I'll watch because I still love the show, but House had so much more edge when he was still on drugs. I think I just read that Thirteen is not out of the picture yet, DD, so maybe there is hope left for both of us.
I used to like House, can't say I like this turn of events too much. I loved Hugh Laurie in the Black Adder series, thanks to him I can't read anything about Prince George without laughing & having images of Hugh in the part come to mind.
I love House and I'll pretty much watch whatever he does, drugs or no drugs. I love the episode at the beginning of last season where he figured out that regardless of him being on drugs he's still an ass and basically a sociopath. It still worked for me.
I was rooting for a hookup with Cuddy, but I watched last night and have to say, I never thought a day spent with Hugh Laurie with no pants on could look so depressing. I told my husband I hope they get all these professions of love and tenderness out of the way so he can start ruining her life as we know he is meant to. If you didn't watch last night, I can report that she gave him carte blanche to do just that. So, I'm hoping they'll make this fun.
And just to make this thing with Cuddy more palatable it looks like they've shipped 13 off in some mysterious subplot. So, we won't be distracted by her hotness, I guess...?? Not sure what's going on there.
Sigh. Oh alright, I'll go watch it.
