You were going to post about World Alzheimer's Day, but, you forgot, right?Meanwhile..I've become convinced I own a house just past the Missouri border, but, I can't find the deed. No shit. I bought it when my life was more, umm, interesting. Pretty sure.

If I had a nickel for every time I've bought a house and then forgotten about it.
Good luck, hope you find your lost house.
When my mother was in the Alzheimer's unit, she would come up with some amazing stories. One of the best was that Shirley Temple lived down the street from us when she was a little girl. Told her NO and I didn't remember that??? She said ... I wasn't born yet (she could still come up with some good responses). Also, Shirley & her father moved to CA ... no mention of what happened to her mother. Funny thing, Shirley was born in CA, we lived in PA ... must have been a 3,000 mile long street. When I go back to my hometown, I'm still looking for Shirley's old house. Want me to look for your Missouri house, too?
If you can narrow it down to the county, call the courthouse. They can check under your name. But if you haven't paid taxes on it, chances are it was sold at auction.
Yer mom's just spinning yarns. I, sadly, am just that fucked up that I could misplace a house. With acreage. Oh well, it needed a lot of work anyhow.
Anon, which county? Ahhh, sigh, the questions I've asked myself.
Did you check your other pants pocket? That's where I usually keep my extra houses.
Nah, she's not spinning yarns anymore. She now resides in a drawer. Dad is in the drawer to the left.
Gosh ? What was I going to Post?
Come on down to Missouri! We'd love to have you, DD! (I'm in the St Louis area)
LMAO @ Bayou.
