Cambridge, Mass...there's a dog park that has a lamp powered by dog poop. You scoop up the dogs handiwork and drop it in one barrel and give it a spin. Microbes react by giving off methane, that goes to the second tank, and then to the lamp...powering it. I think it's awesome, but, a little clumsy looking. If you read the article, one dog owner thought it was art. She said it's "just a wonderful piece of sculpture, you know, modern art."*
And that...is where they lost me. Two barrels full of shit and shit gas looks like art? Why did they even put that in there? The writer managed to turn an article about something cool into a pile for the stupid. Recycle that, dude.
