Yippie, now she can go on a picnic because doctors say that her meds and treatment are working. I'm sure now that she understands what she did, life is a blast. If you've ever read her story, you know that she warned everyone before she killed the kids. She told doctors, psychiatrists, mental health facilities, her family and that stupid religious freak husband of hers that something was wrong and she feared for her children. But, no one listened. No one.
They didn't die in vain. Because of Andrea Yates, post partum-psychosis is now taken more seriously and is more often treated. Too late for the Yates children, sadly. So, yeah, let her go on a damn picnic. Who cares? How much worse can her life be than what's inside her head? That is not a place I'd want to spend my life. Personally, I think her husband and the doctors who treated her pre-crime should be sharing her sentence. I still can't believe they got off scott free.
yeah, her husband should have been charged.....then he fucking divorced her, remarried and had more kids cuz he said 'marriage is about HAVING CHILDREN'!!!!!!!!!!!! they were WARNED about having more chilren, yet he still had another kid with andrea cuz that's how whackadoodle he was!!
ReplyDeleteshe even filled the bathtub a few days BEFORE she drowned them all, they KNEW THAT......he fucking left her with those kids knowing she wasn't mentally okay.....he should have been ordered sterilized.....
He should have been sterilized at the very least. He was partly responsible, maybe more than her.

ReplyDeleteSHE should be sterlized, as well. She's nuts. She will never be right. She methodically murdered their 5 babies. Then Called 9-11. She knew she did a VERY bad thing. He knew she was mental and had PPD. He initially determined to stand with her and support her. But that would never last. It's all a horrible nightmare. That they have to live with. Sadly, too many young desperate mothers have copied her actions. This is a sick f'g world. People have killed their children all throughout history. Sick bastards. When people said, had they known, they would have taken those kids. I think he was too ashamed of her to get her help. So, she did THAT to get his attention. I can't stand the sight of her. He skips off into a new life. Fuck them all.
