There's our Mary Mary at the height of her Gothic phase. Wow. I'm impressed AND scared. I love it! Can any of you top that? Come on, let's see blasts from your pasts.

I would have probably wet my pants if I had run into you, Mary. Good for you for being able to express yourself, though. Christina
If that was for Halloween, I get it. Or for a show maybe? Awesome costume. My daughter went as Amy Winehouse, before Amy passed. She looked identical. She even drew her tats on perfectly. "Blaaaake!" In photos she even posed, passed out with a Jack bottle dangling from her hand. Eerily prophetic. It's spooky. My son went thru a goth period in his life, mostly in his band. That's their fan base. For the stage he still dons the guy liner etc. it's all cool. Hurts nobody. He works hard at his job all week. He deserves to enjoy shows. It's his outlet. Release. ππΊπΈ<For our vets .
Hambone here! Haha No that was not for Halloween. It was '83, I was in art school, studying for my BFA in Illustration and that was a typical Friday night, going out to a club, like Fetish, Scream or Seance OR to see a band at Fender's or Bogart's - like The Birthday Party, Einsturzende Neubauten, Sisters of Mercy or Wiseblood. Yes, that is a skull on my butt. It was the Misfit's logo and that particular accessory was called a Bum Flap. Hahahaha - those were the days: art school student, so serious, so dramatic.
I remember Wall Of Voodoo, The Plimsouls, definitely The Dickies. I want to say Suburban Lawns - but that may have been elsewhere. Madame Wu's? The Starwood? Surf Punks definitely at Starwood. Many times at Bogart's we did not know who was playing but dropped by hoping to get in. If not we would mosey over to Michaelangelos which had alot of coverbands, but desperate Navy boys who were willing to dance and buy many drinks for us!
