Great Lori Petty interview

The Daily Beast has a really good interview with Lori Petty, HERE. She just did an episode of Orange Is The New Black and kudos to her for getting on it. She can still pull a few strings, obviously. If you love Hollywood and gossip, you will love the interview because she drops big names all over the place and she's amusing. I had no idea she directed Poker House and it was based on her life. That movie kicked ass and was totally underrated.

The problem with Lori is, she's still an actress at heart and you can't believe every other word they say. Hell, they don't even know when they're telling the complete truth. She laments not having a 'Johnny Depp' island because she was a punk princess (punk princess, wtf?) in a Barbie doll world. Well, fuck me, I have eyes and ears and she was totally miscast in things like Point Break. Yeah, I love Point Break too, but, be real, it would have been way better without her and that dumb man-bo, Keanu Reeves. Lori was more manly than him anyday and they tried to sell her to us as a sex symbol. Puuu-lease. Sexy is subjective, man, but, I never heard anyone male or female drooling over Lori Petty. That aint mean, it's just the truth. They should have just called that movie, scenes of Patrick Swayze and cast him in all the parts. I would have bought ten copies. It's not like the script was The Grapes Of Fucking Wrath. But, what do I know?

Petty also claims she discovered Jennifer Lawrence. Run that one by me again? Anyway, even though she's a little deluded (par for the course), it's a good interview. Check it out, if you've a mind to and then we can talk shit behind her back. (Like she gives a shit, right?)

There's Keanu trying to steal some Lori Petty testosterone. How'd that's work out for you, Keanu? Geez Louise.

It must be a requirement for all actors to be so full of themselves, there is no room for anyone else in the universe...lol

That said, I always liked her voice :)

Yeah, good voice. Have you seen Poker House? It's on You Tube, damn, it's a good movie. Jen Lawrence is really good in it, she was so young too. Selma Blair played her mom. I love Selma.

I haven't seen it, but it looks like one to to check out. Lawrence and Blair would be a good combo.
