Four O Clocks

The Four O Clocks have started to bloom. I guess they're called Four O CLocks because they open late in the day, an evening flower. Snow On The Mountain looks very pretty planted with the Four O Clocks. I like the yellow and pale pink ones the best.

So beautiful. I just get this feeling of calm when I look at your garden pics. It must be so sweet to actually be there enjoying it.

I want to be there too. My 4o`clocks have not come in at all yet. I have to keep remembering that your area is different. Stuff comes up sooner.

4o`clocks are an easy plant to grow from seed. They fill in an area nicely and they are pretty.

I made a mistake in putting them behind the Zinnia's. But, it's okay, next year I can look at these pics and remember to do it diff.

The colors are breathtaking. If I came to visit I'd paint the whole yard and eat all you tomatoes and watermelons.

Brings back memories. My grandmother had four o'clocks, all colors, sometimes more than one color on a plant. We would string them to make necklaces. They should come back on their own, at least they do in south Louisiana.

They don't come back here. Too cold. I'll save seeds though.
