Ahhhhhh, how sad that older children try to ruin it for little ones. I can't blame Mady and Cara, it's the way they've been taught. They have not had a role model to teach them to be kind and gentle with those who are smaller and more innocent. However, I have to say this..

Dear Mady and Cara, you are wrong. There is a Santa. All those nice gifts you get every Christmas were not bought by your mom or dad. This I can say with absolute certainty. Sometimes they were delivered by a UPS truck, but, who sent them? And who paid for them? Not your mom or dad. Not even close. So, you see, Mady and Cara, there IS a Santa. Now you run and tell the little ones the truth and they can tell all the kids in their class. Santa exists. Don't you feel silly now?
That is mean. Those two should care about their much younger siblings enough to protect them, they should have been taught to look out for them. Emotionally and physically. That is what big sisters are supposed to do.

I can never believe a thing the Gosselins say. One of the reasons Kate stated to me that she did not want stocking for her kids was because they did not celebrate with Santa. Christmas was strictly about Christ for them. She needs an excel spreadsheet to keep track of the lies. Argh.

Once Collin said he hit one of the other kids because it was 'fun'....these kids have seen things we will probably not know about until the day they turn 18, then watch out sheeple, the truth will be heard...I would bet on that.
I can totally see Mady telling the little kids that Santa Claus was a big old lie. Cara...mmm...not so much. Wasn't this in an episode??

ReplyDeleteThat was so sweet of you to offer stockings for the kids. Did you make them? Crochet? How did that come about? (If you don't mind.) Did you live near her?
My husband, my son, and I all have beautiful hand made crocheted stockings that my husbands grandmas friend made for us. I love them! Do you still make them? If you sell them and take orders...I would love to have one for my daughter. The friend died before my daughter was born.

ReplyDeleteNo they were not crochet stockings. I do those as well. They are really high end looking. I sent pics of them to Moon. And no I live in Az so way across country from Kate. This was way back before I got wise to their lies.
I am currently not making any as I am due to have my baby on the 22nd. However that can change next year. If you remember, just remind me in March and I will let you know. I can send you pics as well and you can let me know if you prefer the high end ones or crochet ones. Thanks for asking.
I started to notice more and more there is a lot of hitting among the kids. I know kids get into fights but is seems like they never addressed it. Oh that's right, Mommy hits Daddy so it must be okay. pfffft

shmedelle, Have you seen that other little people show yet? The couple with the baby? She is a miniature Khate. I actually think she saw how popular J&K were and she's trying to be Khate. I'm sure TLC is pushing it too. She's rude to her husband and he just takes it.

those poor kids. my heart goes out to mady. she seems to be (along with alexis), the family scapegoat. when a kid knows that they are pigeonholed as the "bad" kid, it's a self fulfilling prophesy. she needs a lot more love, and a good psychologist to work out her anger that seems to be misdirected toward her little brothers and sisters. but, then tlc just edited her more angry moments into those shows. they are there taping for how many hours a week? a show is roughly 22 minutes. in those 22 minutes we may get about 3 minutes of mady's "meanness". what about the other 23 hours and 58 minutes that make up a day in mady's life? are they showing us how loving or sweet mady can be toward the younger siblings? of course not! because mady is cast as the monster sibling. and her useless parents were complicit in that. i said it before- tlc has a lot to answer for and i hope they all rot. scum of the earth.

ReplyDeleteI saw the new little couple show that has a baby. And, I agree with you that the mom is a minature Khate. She thinks she rules the roost - and actually she does have her husband whipped into shape! The guy does EVERYTHING for the family while she sits and orders him around, criticizing everything he does.
Did you know she recently had her THIRD child? She had this last one quite recently - I read about it on a UK website. The mom definitely enjoys the attention she's getting from the show and being famous for carrying these babies.

ReplyDeleteAnd yeah, Kate is rude. But it's okay about the stockings. I ended up taking them to the cancer ward I did my chemo at and donated them with gifts to the children's wing there. They were accepted and appreciated by a more worthy cause in my opinion.

yep. exactly. the things those people have said publicly about their two daughters give me the dry heaves. my evil half hopes that mady and alexis collaborate on a book. make a mint of money and leave their parents choking on their dust.

Actually I think Kate told them because they did not do the Santa thing. Never saw them refer to it on the show. Never saw pictures in her books. Kate always likes to suck the fun out of everything, why not Christmas too? I don't see Jon as being too "Christlike" so I blame Kate. Besides Jon was Catholic all his life and we even had Santa at our Childrens' Christmas Eve Mass.
