The net is abuzz about the death of socialite Casey Johnson at the age of 30. I think we can all jump to conclusions here. I knew she was in trouble when she got arrested for breaking into a friends home and stealing junk jewelry and leaving a masturbatory device in their bed. Her death is not made lovelier by idiot fame whore Tila Tequila twittering madly about it and claiming she was her fiance. Tila hadn't even seen Casey since before Christmas and in fact, Casey was dead several days before anyone found her.*
I just feel so bad for her family. I don't care that she was a heiress or 30. To her parents she will always be their little girl and I'm sure they're devastated. Casey didn't seem to value her life and that's just sad. She had a little daughter, she adopted an orphan, but, was too messed up to take care of the child and she's being raised by Casey's parents. This whole thing is depressing. And no one cares about stupid Tila Tequila...so I wish she'd shut the fuck up and let the Johnson's bury their kid.
I feel sorry for them, too. I can't imagine the pain of losing your child.
ReplyDeleteThis chick wanted fame and was regularly in the gossip columns for her partying ways and strange behavior. Recently she was arrested, wasn't she? She was a mess. She regretted not doing The Simple Life with Paris Hilton and ever since has tried to get some fame that has eluded her. Tia Tequila is a bitch and fame whore. They did date and did post a vid of them being engaged. But who knows, Casey was probably too high to get what was happening. Tia will do anything to get attention. I wish ppl would stop paying her any attention. I don't even believe she is a lez, it's just for some fame. Whatever works in the moment. This is awful and Casey was on the wrong track for fame. She didn't even need it. She was already more wealthy can moct wealthy ppl. However, I did read recently that she was on her own and the family had cut her off, disowned her. This was very recently. I'm sure they will deny that but seems to me they may have done just that. Shame on them. I am sure they are sad & feel awful. They had to see this coming so instead of helping her they cut her off. Now she's dead. Nice goin' mom & dad! :(

Sad situation altogether and goes to show that money can't buy happiness. I did read that she was diabetic and had possibly been in a coma. Regardless of what happened though, I have sympathy for her family and friends. I do feel that Tila will take advantage of the situation by trying to get any attention she can. Sickening.

Money can't buy happiness, but it can buy stability, which for me is very close. I don't understand all of these false celebrities who have no talent, but want to be famous. Why so we keep supporting them? Did anyone buy Paris Hilton's CD? I hope not. I will admit though that I did rent House of Wax or whatever movie that was Paris stared in. I only did this though to see her die. I can't stand fame whores like her. We would all be better off with a few less. My condolences to the parents of this one. Then again if they had raised and loved their daughter themselves instead of hiring nannies to do the job she might not have gone into a drug spiral because her parents didn't love her.

ReplyDeleteI recently watched a show that reported the new thing thats going on with young girls and women who are diabetic is an eating disorder called diabulimia.
They skip their insulin so they can lose weight. Casey had already been hospitalized a couple times for being in a diabetic coma. That will occur if insulin is skipped and sugar gets too high.
When you're Diabetic, you have to avoid all drugs that kill your appetite. She didn't.

ReplyDeleteMaybe, just maybe her family has tried interventions with Casey and had to cut her off. It takes a brave and loving family to do that. I think we should give them the benefit of the doubt, they are raising Casey's daughter and had to protect her too. If someone won't accept help, there is really not much you can do.

I'll add that I've seen some awful parents raise wonderful kids and wonderful parents raise awful kids.
I consider myself fortunate. We tried to be good parents and raised our children successfully, but my personal opinion is that there is some luck involved and I'll give my kids some credit, as well.
When someone's child dies, it's sad no matter what the circumstances. There's no room for blame, just sympathy and empathy.
I imagine she was a very cute little girl at one time who just took the wrong path. RIP
Her parents had a limo at her disposale to go to rehab anytime.

This girl was desperate to be famous. She dug her own grave by trying her damndest to be a "bad girl" like so many of them do...go to a club, get drunk, get high, snort coke, repeat. Every day. And the sad thing is, that really does make some people famous. All they do is party and get wasted and they end up on the cover of "UsWeekly" for it, like Lindsay Lohan. Casey Johnson never achieved this level of fame but damn if she didn't try and that's probably what killed her.
ReplyDeleteYou'd think have millions of dollars would be enough to keep anyone content, but these girls were born into that lifestyle so they take it for granted. It's not enough to have millions, they are used to that-what they really want is fame. I wish nobody could get famous this way. It's ridiculous.
And Tila Tequila is a fucking piece of trash.
I didn't know that she was diabetic...actually living outside the states, I had no idea who she was 'til I read it on CNN..I feel sorry for any parent who has to bury a child...it's not natural. I am also a diabetic and don't understand this thing about insulin ... not taking it to lose weight??!! WTF?? I have type 2 now for almost 3 yrs., and I will tell you, with Metformin (850 mg 3X a day) you WILL lose weight! (annoying side effects include "back door" problem when you eat too much). There is also Alli, which is the non-perscription form of Xenical...which also makes you shit grease..literally.. so why not take your insulin? I am lucky that I don't need insulin yet...my mother is type 2 and is now insulin dependent. I would never stop that to lose weight...

I just threw up my Metformin which means I have to wait 20 min and try again. I hate being Diabetic, but, you have to manage it. Sounds like Casey thought she didn't have to. And she partied hard. Sounds like an awful life.

ReplyDeleteNicky Hilton and Tila Tequila had a dispute tonight over ownership of this dead girl's dogs. Apparently Nicky and some other bimbo came to pick up the dogs that were at Tila's house for the last week. Tila called the cops and the cops made her give the dogs to Sister of Skankzilla to send to dead chick's family. I'm seriously disturbed that I know this and felt like sharing it. I suck.
