There's Mary Mary's stylin' Bakelite phonograph. Pretty cool. Thanks, MM, you better not be playin' any of that Pat Boone rock and roll on there. Stick to Ricky Nelson, he's a nice boy.
I think the last 'rekkid' I spun on there is was The Cramps "Bad Music for Bad People."
So, the ghost lady who resides in this room was really active a few nights ago. In the bathroom, the medicine cabinet opened and closed a few times, the towel was crumpled as if someone dried their hands and downstairs, a small vintage electric fan that was tucked away under a George Nelson bench was sitting in the middle of the foyer, pretty as you please. When I went into the Bakelite record player room upstaris, it was cold and the window was slightly open. Do you think she was trying to tell me she was catching cold in the room because of the drafty window or am I rationalizing the sum of these 'events?' x0 - Mary Mary
Wow - that's ace! Does your mom like to collect vintage things?
I found my phonograph years ago up in Paso Robles, CA. This sweet old man restored old phonos and brought them back to life. He sold them so cheap; guess he really liked tinkering with them. I knew he loved what he did because the thing still works!
She would if she could , but it's just an item that's been in the family for many years. She also has a 120 year old hand-crank portable sewing machine that used to belong to her great gram. I love vintage stuff, if you are ever in WA, you need to visit this place, provided it's open at the time. It has some of the most amazing stuff I've seen and I drool every time I am browsing around the barns.
Dear Meissa, Oh, thanks, doll! I love road trips, so when I plan a trip to the Washington area, I will go there!
Dear DD, I will have to look into it and find someone who does EVP work! I wasn't scared, just a bit surprised my all the activity at once. I have grown used to her and I kind of actually 'like' her, so I want to make sure she's 'comfy.' I wouldn't want her ticked off for bringing in a crew, though. I sense some 'crankiness' sometimes - her's, not mine. Hahaha

Nice unit, Mary! I'm jealous. My mom has a Telefunken radio that works perfectly, but it's just an ornament in her apartment.
Dear Meissa,
Oooo, Telefunken design is gorgeous, solid! Even if it doesn't work, it is beautiful to have displayed. Is your mom's a console or a table top?
Mary, it's this one

Sound activated recorder..discount store. They don't cost much. Then you can do it yourself any day or night. I'll bet you you'd get something.
I want to keep up on your ghost activity Mary Mary. I enjoy post like this.
Dear DD,
Oh, marvelous! I can do this myself!
Thanks; I'll let you all know what happens.
