Dylan's story has not changed or wavered in all these years. Because charges were filed but a judge said there wasn't enough evidence to support the claim, Woody got away with it. Dylan grew up feeling like people didn't believe her, she felt abandoned by the justice system and became terrified of men, developed an eating disorder and became a cutter. She's older and better now, but, she's still not over it and never will be. AND she has the balls to speak out about it and ask celebrities what their favorite Woody Allen film is now that they know what he did to her in detail. It takes a lot of bravery to write what she wrote. Read it.
Bitches like Barbara Walters are arguing in Woody's defence claiming he has a solid marriage to Soon-Yi and is a wonderful loving father to their two girls. Does Barbara live with them? Hell no. Did Barbara forget that Mia Farrow, who has been portrayed as some kind of vindictive nut job who planted false memories in young Dylan to get even with Woody for cheating on her, actually found out about his affair with her adopted daughter Soon-Yi because she found naked Polaroids of her then UNDERAGE daughter in his apartment? Photos that were taken by him and definitely weren't artsy shots? They were fucking lewd shots of young pussy. THAT's what the 'loving' father thought was appropriate? If they'd been appropriate, why did he hide them from her mother? I don't know about you, but, if it had been me that found them, he probably wouldn't still be breathing. The fact that he decided to split with Soon-Yi's mother and marry the kid doesn't make this shit any better. It's called covering your tracks. 'Oh, we were so in love, we couldn't help it'. Fuck you, Woody. She was for all intents and purposes, your child! And so was Dylan, who was even younger and more vunerable. How dare you let half the world and assholes like that hair lipped Barbara Walters call the kid a liar. Man up and admit you did it. There's too much testiony of odd bizzare behavior on your part with that little girl to be ignored and not by Mia, Dylan, Rowan or any other family members. You were described by outsiders as 'obsessed' with that little girl and wouldn't leave her alone. You ignored your own biological son to spend all your time holding Dylan on your lap, even when she didn't want to sit on your damn lap. Men who aren't up to something bad feel no need to sneak kids up to isolated attics alone when they're mother is out or busy somewhere else. Fuck you, fuck you're 'genius', fuck your movies and fuck any actor who takes up for you because they'll ignore the obvious for their career. Oh, and fuck you, Barbara. Fuck you twice as hard, because you're a woman and a mother. I'd always believe my kid, and I believe Mia's kid too.
If I had a chance to say anything to Dylan Farrow, I'd say, honey, it wasn't your fault, it never was, you did nothing wrong. It's shameful you never got justice for what that man did to you and I hope you can heal someday. And believe me when I say, not everybody thinks you lied. A lot of people are on your side. Believe me. We can see through his bullshit and we don't think he's a 'genius'. We think he's a sneaky pervert who still can't be trusted. Maybe, just maybe, you speaking out and telling your story has stopped him from hurting the two young girls he has now. Maybe he knows he's being watched and is too afraid to repeat history. I'm not sure, but, if that's true, then you did save someone else and you should be proud.

Mia actually dropped the charges when this first happened. She didn't want to put Dylan through the "trauma." If she had not dropped the charges, Allen would be in jail now. Also, Mia did not "figure it out." Dylan went to her with questions that were not age specific to a 7 year old. That is when she caught on. If you're going to present sides, present the facts, not your opinion!

RE "facts" there are more than you are presenting as well. One of which is the prosecutor himself recommended not pursuing in order not to put the kid through any more trauma. And the judge thought there was enough to it that Allen was never allowed unsupervised visits w/ his other kids.
There's an article from back in the day, I believe it was Vanity Fair, detailing Allen's power and influence in the case. He and his attorneys were relentless.

I always found him completely repugnant. He's an poseur, a pseudo-intellectual, which qualities, of course, are never detected by the average person.
He only fools people of average or low intellect, (like the amoral Soonyi). The rest of us see a liar.
BUT, you sure can give your opinions even if they differ from mine. I won't get mad over it. I just tell it the way I see it and I've been on this story since it happened. I've read everything I could get my hands on and that includes accounts by both Mia and Woody..oh, and I'll tell you this, I think Mia is as crazy as a pet coon and I've had pet coons. That's not just an old country saying, they're crazy as fuck all. But, Mia being nuts has no bearing for me after what he did with Soon-Yi and admitted it! He raised her, or helped..she was his child! Blood don't mean shit to me. You don't marry your fucking daughter or step daughter! That's unconscionable! Not to mention nuts. Dylan as young as she was, always came across as truthful to me and not coached by anyone. She just wanted it to stop. Too many other people NOT in the family told stories about his obsessive behavior with just that one child out of all Mia and his kids. The milk aint right. Not for me. If you want to read real bizarre weirdness, read about Woody and Mia's relationship and what those two weirdos thought was 'normal.' Then tell me nothing's wrong.

And btw, anon. A LOT of child molestation cases are dropped by mothers who can't put their child through the agony of that court system, not just Mia Farrow. But, her case was so public it would have been a side show for that child and I can understand that decision. AND when a child comes to you with innapropriate sexual questions, that IS when you figure it out. Woody was too sneaky to be caught red handed and wasn't the type to leave a blood trail. He was smarter than that. If he hadn't fucked up and left porno photos of Soon-Yi in his apartment when he wasn't expecting Mia, she might never have known. If that's not evidence, I don't know what is. At least one of her kids is blind, but, she isn't.
Oh, and while I'm on a yacking roll, look up the story of Soon-Yi and how Mia got her. She is not right in the head and how could she be? She was found on the streets of South Korea, surviving alone. Her birth year is estimated as 1970, but, because of her size she could have been younger. She is said to be intelligent and went to college, but, she was never able to develop real relationships, even with her mother or siblings. She lacked empathy and feelings. She's a strange person for sure. Not her fault, I'm sure, but, she is and that's a fact. She got a lot of proffesional help when she lived with Mia, but, Woody clearly took advantage of her confused state.
And while were on this subject, how about Makenzie Phillips and her dad? Does anyone doubt her story? I sure don't.How about Ryan O'Niel taking little Tatum to nightclubs, giving her weed and booze when she was like, nine? And having sex with women when she was in the house. Wanna talk about little Drew Barrymore and her grade school age nights at Club 21 with hookers, celebs, cocktails and drugs? Has anyone read Maureen McCormic's book? (Marcia Brady) Wow. Not only was she drugged out and hitting clubs and dating grown pervy men (who paid her with drugs and took nasty photos of her while she was strung out, but, she actually bought a fancy car and drove it to work every day on The Brady Bunch. She was like, 14! Not only did no adult tell her she couldn't, but, she wasn't even old enough to get a license. It happens more than you think and now the studios aren't protecting these idiots who expose their kids to this shit. We have paps now too. It's always gone on only now it's hard to keep secrets. Hollywood is a shit place for most kids. If they have fucked up money grubbing parents (Kris Jenner and Dina Lohan come to mind) then, they're doomed.
Now that picture, right there, is a pervert sammitch. Look at how awkward he is with his arms around those girls, and the creepy look on his face. The girls look really uncomfortable, too.
I used to like WA a lot. Loved his movies, my favorite being Love and Death, but not since Soon Yi. I just can't with him.
I do not for a moment doubt Dylan's account of what happened. It must have been a very difficult decision to make, so speak out about what happened to her. But, I'm glad she did. She may save someone by being so honest, and laying it all out there, confronting not only the abuser, but all those who abuse, by proxy, by supporting scum like this. No child should have to go though that. Ever.
I will take it one step further, and say that celebrity gossip is very helpful to me. It allows me to see who these people really are. I can then make comfortable choices about entertainment, based on who these people really are. As in, the dirt bags that support Roman Polanski and Woody Allen. Anyone who supports them, supports abuse, and will no longer appear on my TV, and there will be no movies purchased or rented. Eat that, Hollyweird!
