I'm not saying one word about her body...except this. I am a straight chick, but, I freely admit to enjoying the female form and face. Usually, females are more aesthetically pleasing to look at than men. I can think of half a dozen female celebs I wouldn't mind seeing naked, or have enjoyed seeing naked. She is NOT one of them. I don't believe for one minute, that Lena Dunham embodies the symbol of what 'real' women look like in America. I have seen woman a lot bigger than her, who have perfect proportions and are actually sexy to look at. So, it's not her size or her 'fat' that bothers me. She's just weird looking and, in my opinion, unattractive. Part of it, for me, is her dirty, unkempt look. It's constant. The ugly weird tattoos don't help.
Really? The birds appear as little V's in the sky. It's almost as if she celebrates bad taste in 'art'. I don't care what the meaning is. Though I'm sure there's a fan page somewhere that goes into detail. She is allowed fans, it's a free country. I just don't understand real magazines and news sites devoting time to her. I don't get it. This girl can't even figure out how to brush her own hair or what size dress she really wears and every chance she gets to appear naked, she takes. Or writes it into her show. Look at the top photo. WTF with that hair (on her) and is she wearing a nursing smock?
This chick wouldn't know feminism if it smacked her in the face..or chunky ass. She's just another dumb kid trying to find herself that the media has glommed onto because of the constant nudity. Without nudity she'd be ignored. I'm just tired of it. Put your clothes on, Lena, and write something meaningful and entertaining. Maybe you can..or maybe you're just a naked chick with an imperfect body who exploits it, constantly, for controversy and publicity. That doesn't make you brave or a feminist warrior. I am sick and tired of hearing how she's 'every woman'. She is not.
I was going to include a naked shot, but, the first two I found (there are thousands, but, I wasn't in the mood) were posted by fans on sites calling this slob 'hot'. My curiosity led me to the poster's profiles which showed me out lesbian chicks who have bodies exactly like Lena's. Hmm. Way to fuck yourselves, losers. Damn, that was mean, wasn't it? So? I'm not deleting it. If I was a lesbian slob, I'd make a Charlize Theron page. Or a Katherine Moennig page. Or a Jeri Ryan page. Who the fuck lusts for Lena Dunham?? Give me a break. They're just trying to elevate their no self esteem self. It's too obvious to take a crack at. I won't even make a crack joke. Someone get her out of my face.

Here's the deal in a tidy, little nutshell - unwashed and slovenly is NOT hot. This chick, and companies like American Apparel (yuck) want to pander to the idea that greasy top knots, wrinkled, over sized shirts that show side-boob, cut off crusty Daisy Dukes and a filthy pair of UGGS is hot and sexy, because a woman should be empowered naturally. Bullshit. Filthy is filthy and no body wants to smell or taste bathing suit areas that wreak. She, and her boring show and shitty tattoos can go away now. Bye!!!
I typed in American Apparel images and their ads look like sleezy porn. I agree her show is boring. Shows that seem to center on sex and nudity usually are. Shock value is something I don't get. I don't know anyone over the age of 12 who is interested in it. I think she's gross and she reminds me of 'those' chicks in art school who always posed naked in life drawing class. Jesus, I got tired of drawing their ugly unwashed ass's. Needless to say, there were no drawings in my senior exhibit.
ITA. can't stand her either. Her show sucks...she is a rich private school NYC gal who thinks she is an artist and all she knows to write about is spoiled rich white girls who think they have real problems. yuck.

Believe it or not, tonight was the first time I ever got to watch all of "Dances With Wolves"
from the beginning to the end. Until, I retired, I just neer had the time. And it just took me 24 yrs. to see it. How about that!
Me too. I saw it a few months ago on You Tube. I liked it. You? I find myself watching a lot of old movies and a LOT of tv shows I never got to see because I worked two jobs all the time. I just finished watching all of Moonlighting. I remember liking it in the 80's but never was home to see it much. It was actually good. I enjoyed it in 2014. Whoda thunk it? Now I'm onto ST Voyager..all the episodes I missed. I found a Trek channel that has them all. It's good too. It inspired me to change my profile pic..finally. See?
I loved it. It was so much better than I expected. Now I'm just wondering what else I missed.
I never could understand how some teachers went home with no work. I was always working on something.
It bothers me when anyone claims to represent the rest of us. I don't look anything like her except that I'm a fair Caucasian too.
