Dakota Fanning on the set of her new movie Hounddog, directed by Deborah Kampmeier. Upset people are already voicing protest against the movie because, in it, Dakota's character, Lewellen, makes a boy drop his pants, shares bed with a a full grown man, tells two kids to take their clothes off (at gun point) and she gets raped. Protesters are trying to stop the movie from being released and some even want Dakotas mom arrested.
It's a friggin' movie, people, and it's not like Dakota's some kid fresh out of the suburb. I think she'll be fine. In fact, she'll probably write, direct, and produce her next movie herself. And it won't have a pig in it either.

Good call disher. Dakota is more mature than most 25 year olds leave her alone. If her next movie does have a pig it won't do the talking.
Yep. She's an amazingly mature girl with alot of acting experience. I look foreward to this new movie.
you dont think maybe she is going the way of nicole ricci? id hate to see dakota burn out like she did.
