I still love Jolene Sugarbaker
Jolene was kind enough to take time from her busy schedule at the trailer park to write me a nice email. She's just the sweetest thing! Here's a new one..French Fry Beef Bake. Yum. It looks delicious. BTW, I actually tried her corn chip pie and we loved it. So, yes, Jolene is down home hilarious, but, she can actually cook too. Fer cripes sake...it's 9 minutes..watch it, people, stop tellin' me you're too busy.
Jolene, I love the new burner covers on the trailer stove top. I gotta get me some of those. Now, if only I could stop singing your theme song!

omfug...my roommate has the same ones on the stove in our apartment and i thought they were fug. just not my style. there's also border and everything else...ugh.
Awww, they make it look extra clean. BTW, that tip about blotting with a paper towel, right in the pan..it works like a charm. As for her dismay about the forum with the insults to her cutting skills..I can relate. I use a steak knife sometimes too. Hell, I use whatevers handy and sometimes it's goofy. Whatever, as long as you get it done.
I know some of my real life friends read here..remember that awful trailer I lived in years ago? OMG. I about froze my ass off.
While I'm rarely one to knock things before I try them...that didn't look so tasty to me. It's the peas...I never can do peas.
BTW...my Nana has the exact same (literally) burner covers in her kitchen.
Then substitute something for the peas..jeez louise! LOL!
I swear she looks like Perez in drag....
But, Perez is kinna cute.
I saw the whole video after waiting hours for it to load (dial-up, mind you!).
That beef cake looks decent, like a giant cheeseburguer with fries. I'd add some carrots to the mix. I like Jolene, she's cute on her own way. The character has a soul, which makes her likeable. I swear I wanted to cry when she talked about the mean comments about the knife. BTW, she's got the cutest little kitchen!!!!! To those people who criticize her knife usage, shut the fuck up! She's not a chef, she's a housemaker. Go kiss Rachael Ray's loser ass, dumbfucks!
I think she's cute lol... As for her knife skills..she never proclaimed to be a master chef. People can't find anything else wrong with it so they comment on stupid things. I'm a vegetarian..but I could probably find a way to change that recipe :) Hey..I hate peas too:)
