Taylor Hicks likes to take his old Alabama friends out to dine now that he's doing okay. So they all go to French 75 Bistro in Burbank. They were seated at a table in the back and ignored for 20 minutes and they got up and left. They ended up at another eatery where they were treated much better. Taylor said..
"I guess they thought we were country bumpkins and didn't have any money."
Hmmm, maybe they didn't know they were in the presense of greatness? >rolls eyes< No, really it's a bad rep for any restaurant to get, I don't care who the customer is. I hope they missed out on a huge tip. But, I kind of doubt it. Cough.

I'm curious as to when this incident supposedly happened, since Taylor has been far from California for almost two weeks now. If true, it sounds like he handled it the same way I would have, except I would have filed a complaint with management before leaving.

Why? why would you say that? Are you suggesting that Taylor and friends would NOT leave a good tip? that's ridiculous. Mr. Hicks is very nice person, a true gentleman, and would definitely be the kind of person to leave a generous tip.
