Cate Blanchette is missing a $100,000 diamond and alligator purse, which had been stashed in her closet while she was dressing for the Academy Awards. The bag was designed by Giorgio Armani was to match her dress, which he also designed. There were many people running around her suite, as you can imagine, and the police were alerted. But, some people wonder if Cate simply didn't like the bag and it will eventually show up. Hmmm. Everyone raved about her metallic dress, personally, I found it dreary. She looked like a robot, or Seven Of Nine from Voyager. But, where's the purse? I'm assuming it was a clutch..not many places a thief could carry it. How strange.

She could put a freaking garbage bag on and look amazing. I think it's the makeup, hair and how she carries herself that contributes as much as anything else. Personally I think the dress looks great on her but I can see your point too. Ever since Angie, ladies have been jumping on that gray bandwagon.
