Why do people finance this crap? I don't need to go see it to know it's a pile of dog doo and the same old lame joke done again. What a waste of time, film, money and audience brain cells. You'll find me watching this as soon as I hang my Thomas Kinkade painting. Like, friggin' never.

DD Can I just say thank you for posting this...I mean really. Who the fark comes up with this pablum? I feel the same way about Borat and the stupid dodgeball movie. I like funny, but intelligent funny, not boogers, farts and crotch jokes funny...

I'm with you. I refuse to waste the brain cells I have left on this utter crapola. They can hype it 'till they explode, it's coming no where near me.
DD...do you have PMS today...dang gal..you are rippin em!! (And I am laughing my ass off!)
I don't get PMS anymore, I'm just a bitch. But, I tell ya, for some reason Hollywood is really irritating me lately.
DD, I know this is slightly off topic but in the vein of hollywood "irritating" you, did you watch any of the FX series Dirt? I thought it was pretty good and I wonder if the shows depiction is anything at all like the way real gossip tabs/sites work??

It was the number one movie over the weekend I think. So that's why they finance this crap. Because there's THAT MANY morons out there.
Oh yeah and Borat is an intelligent movie. If you don't bother to look past its surface you'll never see it. He managed to expose how stupid, scared, racist and otherwise biggoted much of America still is. So no, it's not just crotch jokes.
I got roped into seeing Borat and agreed only because the theater was giving away free vodka shots during the movie. I could have drank an entire boatload of vodka and that movie would have still sucked. Sorry, I just don't think it had any value...cultural, intellectual or otherwise. Don't misunderstand, I think SBC is a great actor and some of his "Da Ali G Show" interviews are hilarious and quite interesting, but the world could have lived without Borat.

I have to agree with Amy on this. You definitely had to get passed the surface of the movie. It's funny because I liked the borat movie and don't like Da Ali G show and my hubby was the exact opposite.
Now as for Blades of Glory, I will be going to see that...I am a true
Will Ferrell fan and I admit you have to be in the mood for some of his movies, but the underlying humor is usually worth it.
Okay and one more thing...who said DD was PMSing? I was reading her other post and YIKES...I have to agree:)

Calisty..I regret to say, I've never seen Dirt, but reviews aren't good. Not that I listen to them anyway.
Don't be sorry for a long post..that's what we're here for..to read.
