So, Will's going to concentrate on military life and Kate will go back to studying in London. Reps say the split was amicable. Bloggers can speculate the reasons until hell freezes, we won't actually know until Kate's biography comes out. And if she's as smart as they say, she'll write one. One day she's looking at being married to the future king, the next day she's just a student again. You can bet your ass she's not feeling "amicable." Pffft.

How on earth can this split be called "amicable"? I feel so sorry for Kate. William's behavior is despicable.
William's holding out for a cousin to marry. You know how those royals are.
Why feel sorry for Kate? She's the daughter of an events planner who has had a free ride on the royal gravy train for five years. She's had the time of her life. I don't remember ever seeing an engagement ring, or hearing a formal announcement - in which case, I would feel for her, too. As it is, they broke up. It happens.
I never thought that they would get married. William comes across as somewhat limp, but it may be that he is just painfully shy and cossetted up the wazoo. If he is homosexual, he is going to want to put off nuptials as long as possible. If he is straight, why should he get married now? He can have his choice of the most gorgeous babes on Earth for as long as he likes. He doesn't even have to think about marriage until he is in his late thirties, and starts considering how much energy he is going to have as a father to hyper little kids if he doesn't get on with it - as most guys do, at that age.

Isn't she kind of old to be a student? I mean I know the rest of us plebs have to take 6 years to get through college because we work and stuff but what the hell is her excuse? I hope she's in grad school.
