ParAss had a little party at her house last night, friends and family..some fast food was delivered, and some cup cakes for the crowd. Now there's a big hubbub at the couthouse over the decision to let her appear in court this morning by phone. The judge is mad, this is not the way to get what you want. She should have just been there, on time. The judge is the same one who sent her to jail in the first place. It's not looking good for her.
And yes, I DO think she served enough time for a probation violation. Look at her..are you terrified this hardened criminal will be free? Don't talk to me about justice, there isn't any. When rapists and child molesters get instant probation, putting someone like ParAss Hilton in jail for a probation violation is a giant waste of taxpayers money and this has turned into a three ring circus. The city attorney, sheriffs department, judge, lawyers, all of them are off their friggin' rocker with the fame factor of this thing. Let it go..move on and do your job with real criminals. This is a joke and they should be ashamed for subjecting us to it. She's nothing more than a dumbass with a DUI. It aint CSI California.
Update: The judge said NO to the phone deal. He's mad and a car is now on it's way to pick up ParAss and bring her to the courtroom. Well, duh. She needs a new lawyer, because this one is just intent on pissing officials off.
Paris's house right now..something tells me we'll get photos of her going to court. Geeez.

I think she's getting one. Sometimes reality checks don't take as long as you'd think. Less time than body cavity searches in this case.

Sorry, DD, I disagree, she should do whatever the judge sentenced her to. That judge is known for being a hardass with everyone, so she just needs to suck it up and do her time like everyone else. She sure doesn't look freakin sick to me in that pic at all, send her ass back to jail for the remaining days. Baca didn't go thru the proper channels and it's his own fault that it has turned into this circus.
I don't know. DD has a point. Someone in the town I live in raped someone else with indisputable evidence to prove so. The guy got 5 yrs probation and had to register as a sex offender.
I disagree as well, because what you seem to be saying is that she's used to the good life, the very idea of a prison cell probably scared the shit out of her, so that's punishment enough. That is just buying into the blinded by fame bs you are accusing the officials in the case of.
I work with juvenile offenders who are on probation. They frequently act stupid, violate their probations, and go to jail (JDC, but still a jail cell, with bars, surrounded by a barbed wire yard.) Some of them are vicious thugs, but some are guilty of little more than having crap parents, the typical kid drug use and being constantly truant. Even truancy is a probation violation, and when they violate, they go to jail. And they are 15, 16 years old.
Maybe they have suffered enough and learned their lesson after a few days, as well, but that doesn't mean they get out.
I have no patience with the contention that because Joe Blow criminals lead such hardened lives, they won't be bothered by prison, but because a candy ass like Hilton has been blessed by fate, she is somehow deserving of endless acommodations, and having her incredibly privileged life temporarily fucked constitutes punishment enough. She could have killed someone driving around shit faced and she's lucky she didn't. And she should have done her time.

PS The "rapists get out of jail fast too" is another argument and I am in complete agreement there. If guilty, they should rot. The fact that they don't is yet another travesty of justice, but doesn't really impact on the P H case.
I think it has become a ring circus - but she was charged with a crime, and lots get a lot more time then 45 days.

There needs to be harsher punishment for violent offenders, that much is true for sure. Like another poster said, she is damn lucky that she didn't kill anyone or hurt herself. It seems like some people are willing to excuse her because "nobody got hurt." This should serve as a wakeup call to her! If she wants to party and get trashed, she is legally an adult and has that right, but she should also arrange for someone to drive her drunk ass around. Had it been me, I would be sitting in Tent City right now (Google Sheriff Joe Arpaio). Everyone should be equal under the law, but we all know that doesn't quite work out the way that it should. She shouldn't get harsher treatment than the average Jane, but she shouldn't be let off easily, either. There are people who have done less than Paris did, yet they serve harsher sentences because they have to depend on public defenders rather than being able to hire $500+/hour attorneys. I hope that she learns her lesson, but I doubt that she will. I imagine if she kills someone someday, she'll whine about how "mean" and "unfair" the system is! Slamming into someone at 70MPH and decapitating him is, like, sooo NOT hot.
