John Lennon claimed for years that the song "Lucy in the sky with diamonds" was NOT about LSD, but was inspired by his son Julians painting of his little friend which the child said was Lucy..in the sky..with diamonds. I never understood why people didn't believe John, the guy would pop LSD, naked on the freekin' 6 O clock news if he felt like it..why would he lie? Now we have the real Lucy and the painting. Her name is Lucy O'Donnell (now Lucy Vodden) and Julian liked her..a lot. And the painting is just amazing for a little kid, or anyone actually. Very cool, glad his mother saved it. Those freaks who claimed Lucy was LSD were the same fucktards who spent the entire 70's playing records backwards to hear Satan speak.
