Police are investigating a homicide. WWE professional wrestler Chris Benoit, his wife Nancy and their 7-year-old son were found dead in their home near White Water Country Club in Fayette County (in Atlanta) at 2:30 pm this afternoon.
Chris had mysterioulsy pulled out of a World Wrestling Entertainment pay per view event last night, during which he was expected to be crowned Extreme Championship Wrestling world champion because of "family emergency." That's all the news that has been released on the deaths so far.
Update: Investigators believe the 40-year-old Benoit killed his wife, Nancy, and 7-year-old son, Daniel, over the weekend, then himself on Monday. A neighbor called police, and the bodies were found in three rooms.

I have been a fan of his for a long time, even though I haven't really watched wrestling lately...some of the shit they do isn't entertainment at all...but I digress...this is a tragic event, and I pray for their family.
