It's August...
And those of you who know me, know how I HATE August. Every August I post some RHPS...it's a tradition that gets me through this horrible month. Sweet Transvestite. I got caught up in this decades ago, and now I have finally managed to give up my obsession....until August. I see you shiver with antici.........pation. Enjoy.

LOL @ Jan. Oh, I hate August because it's so unbearably hot here. Always. I hate the heat and hate the sun. I'm allergic to the sun, and light sensitive. I'm nocturnal and sunlight makes me tired and sick. So, August is the worst for me.
The Rocky Horror Picture Show keeps me in the mindset that it's almost over and rainy, misty, cold, cloudy days are nearing. Then I feel alive again.
Do you hate August because it's hot as shit? Or do you just hate August because it's hot as shit! Seriously,I too would like to know why you hate the scorching, sweltering month of August.

I'm with DD actually. I'm quite sensitive to the sun and I don't like it at all, thus the reason why I'm pale. I'm not a sun worshipper, my least favorite season is summer. I love Fall and I love rainy days. I'm unlike most.. I like to hibernate in the summer.

i love the beach! i am a southern girl and would never live where it is unbearably cold.

RHPS is the best!
Peak heat here is mid-June thru September. I live near enough to swamps and lakes to have mosquitoes and 100% humidity almost year-round. Forget make-up, forget styling your hair. Body spray of necessity is Off.
Ooo, a discussion about the weather. I am a Swede and we simply have to engage in weather conversations. I love August because it is one of the few months where we will actually see a hint of sun and even then it is not guaranteed!

A few weeks ago (whatever) I went with a few friends dressed up to the Alamo Drafthouse in San Antonio, Texas for RHPS. It's amazing DD. Bring lighters, squirt guns, party hats and get the time warp going
RHPS is the sh**!!!!!!!!!! Any month of the year!!
