Uhh huu, her mother also sewed her into her clothes, surrounded her with tiny taunting Japanese chicks, covered her in Elmers Glue and threw sequins at her and made her wear cinnamon buns on her head. Her mother is evil.

If morbid obesity runs in the family, I can totally understand a mother not wanting that to happen to their child! Heart disease, diabetes, cancer...you name it, obesity increases your chances. More mothers should take notice, America's kids are OBESE!!! They sit around & play video games & don't excercise & their moms are allowing them to be the obese generation. I applaud Gwens mom for being on top of it. Gwen did have a pudgy childhood & her mom probably saw she was going to be heavy & she helped her change her eating habits. I'm sure Gwen is happy that she isn't obese! I doubt her mom instructed her in the fine art of bulemia or anorxia!!!
Being on top of it and providing healthy meals and snack choices, promoting exercise as a family for fun fitness is one thing.
But making a kid paranoid about size and eating regular meals in grade 6 is plain stupid and unhealthy, and contradicts your idea her mother 'instructed' her well. She actually set her up for a life time of body image and eating issues. To say nothing for warpped thinking in other areas.
I bet your the type to make smart ass ignorant comments in the grocery line when you see someone buying something you think they shouldn't based on what you think you know, aren't ya 1:20

Gwen has always looked pretty damn healthy to me, never too thin, just very fit. If she's the only vain celeb/pop star in Hollywood, I'll eat my own shoe! She doesn't smoke & isn't a druggy. She seems to be leading a very healthy & happy lifestyle to me. All you haters probably have fata**,lazy kids or are fat yourselves! lay off! Gawd!
