Just because the restaurant comps it, doesn't mean the waiter gets a dime for their hard work. What a total jerk this lad has become. At one of his Aussie shows he joked that it was hot and he'd be more comfy naked, but, that would cost fans extra. Who does he think he is?? And who'd want to see him naked? Maybe Ryan Seacrest..nobody else. He's so full of himself you have to wonder just what he sees when he looks in a mirror, because it sure isn't what I see when I look at his pictures.

He's been waited on hand & foot & kissed up to since he was a kid, what else but a warped sense of self and reality can we expect from these people. It's not an excuse by any means, but at some point they've got to realize the world doesn't revolve around them.

OK - I tip consistently I even a dollar when I get my to-go coffee. I know people live off their tips.
But in AU they *do not tip*. That is the policy there. If *anyone* tips it's a really small amt like a quarter. So we can't really give him a hard time for that.
Yep thats right, tips are not required and do not make up a part of wages here in Australia. However, I was working in a pretty nice restaurant for a while, and tips were regular even if it was just a small amount.
And for the amount of ass-kissing everyone had to do for him there, I say they deserved a little something.

I dont believe in tipping big. I will leave a few bucks, but no more than 10% of the cost of my meal . If they are dependent on their tips as part of their wages, then I suggest going elsewhere for employment, heck, even MCD's pays above minimum wage, so why settle for a job waiting tables when it doesnt take anymore education to flip burgers or run a cash register and it pays better??
I'd like to add that if I indeed had JT's money, I'd leave more than 10% LOL, but I work hard for my money, I refuse to just give it all away.

Noone HAS to waitress dipshit, go work at Burger King where you would make more money, its not up everyone to make sure your bills are paid, its so rude to expect hefty tips.
I'm sure his service was above & beyond, & just because it was HIM, he should have left something very nice as a gesture of good-will and appreciation. No matter what country you are in!!! It's just common courtesy!
I don't think that bringing up the waitress's choice of profession is particularly relevant here...working in a fast food joint is pretty crap work and some people love the hospitality industry and being a waiter or barperson.
The relevance here is that Timberlake comes to a country where, for some unknown reason, he has fans (why does ANYONE like this guy? He is butt-ugly, sings like a girl, and used to date BRITNEY SPEARS!!!), treats everyone like shit, and doesn't leave a tip when he can certainly afford it, and you know that place bent over backwards to kiss his ass and treat him well.
He is just an absolute jerk. There are plenty of celebrities who have tonnes of money but are nice to people, so his attitude has nothing to do with how he has been ass kissed for years. Its to do with his basic personality.
And his basic personality is "asshole".
The prick got free food! Gawd! So, why not tip? He is not the only celeb to do this lately & it's usually on a comp'd meal for a group of many people. What is the f'g deal? I made good money waitressing even though I got no paycheck. It's called "to insure prompt service." That's what they work for and many are good at it and enjoy it. 10% is not acceptable..it's cheap ass. No one but managers can live on a Burger King salary. If you don't think tipping is right..eat only at buffets. And clean your own table. Duh.
