Why do you guys have such a problem with animal rights? Don't you think they have feelings, know pain, love and fear and have a strong sense of survival like we humans do? Have you been close up to a domestic pet lately, have you noted any of the above traits in them? If not, try beating the shit out of them and see how they react. Don't you think that all living creatures are the same as your pet cat or dog. Get some BRAINS!
It's not the animal rights we have a problem with... it's the the self-righteous, superior, condescending attitude of the animal rights activist that annoy the piss out of me. They, including you anon 11:38, take this shit so seriously, they become offended even when you make jokes about it. Lighten up and get YOURSELF a sense of humour.
BTW, up close and personal? My wittle boogee boogee Charlotte slept in the bed with us last night. She basically lives like a human in our household. And I often write about her shenanigans on my personal blog. Go figure...

Hmm, good point, DD. Crying over dolphins yet selling cow purses. I guess you have to pick and choose your battles, but that does seem a little off. I'm still rooting for her, though! No one says you have to have it all figured out at 18...or 85. Then again, I'm a Heroes dork (I ♥ Sendhil 4ever!), so of course I'm biased!
