Last week their were reports of a pregnant Nicole Richie smoking outside two NYC restaurants..now it turns out they weren't even in the country. In fact these two are so excited by the baby that they've been busy babyproofing the new home daddy Lionel bought them in LA already. Joel is doing most of the work and wants to have it all ready when he and Nicole bring their newborn home. The cutest thing is that Joel has been designing baby clothes. He and his twin brother, Benji already have a clothing line called DCMA and now it includes tiny onesies and T's for babies. That's adorable. I don't think I've ever seen two people turn themselves around so much for the sake of their child.

Aw that is cute! I still can't get over that the two of them are having a baby...together... But they are cute and doing a good job so far!

Let's not go crazy. It's easy to "turn yourself around" when Daddy is buying a house and everything involved has been handed to you on a silver platter. All it really is, is a spoiled brat who got pregnant and decided to grow up. Good, but I'd be more impressed with any anonymous young couple who were druggies, had nothing from anybody, found out she was pregnant and turned their lives around, without much (or any) help.

Britney looked like she had her shit in line too....for a while. I do hope better for Nicole and Joel. Maybe they will stay on the right track. They are in my prayers!!
Joel came from a family of poverty & terrible abuse. I think he appreciates what he has done to turn his life around a very long time ago! Nicole on the other hand is just still being spoiled, but her dad rescued her from a life of poverty too by adopting her from a guy in his band that was in bad shape at the time. Or she would have grown up poor too, so no doubt that would lend itself to her being spoiled. & If I had the money like Lionel has I'd buy my kid a house, why the hell not? She is TRYING & Joel is really taking the lead. I hope they make it.
She is doing the best of all the Itty Bitty Titty Committee. Paris-jail, LL- Jail/Rehab, Brit-forget about it, Nicole- knocked up.

Addiction really doesn't care how much money you have. It is just as hard for a wealthy person to clean up as it is for a poor person. Maybe harder, because you don't have to become a theif, prostitute or other criminal offenses to buy. Money isn't an object to you. To really cleanup is a miraculous thing for any addict.
I will continue to wish for their continued recovery and a happy life.
