Those are useful refrigerator magnets. Form follows function, you know. Ahem. They used to be leftover magnet strips the town hands out once a year with ads on them. There's still the pizza place number showing through in some places and that's handy. She painted them with metallic acrylics and glued on "purdy stuffs." I did the cutting, but, the rest, she did.

She kept yelling "I do it..you don't do it!" Okay, okay..how much glue do you need there? "Wots." Uhh, okay. (Now figuring in the cost of carpet cleaning.) She added buttons, ribbons, sequins, beads, spit, cookie crumbs and finger prints. She was very proud of her presents to everyone in the family and also made "HAWTS" for non Christmas decorating. "Hawts" are her favorite shape. And that's a classy present..if you don't think so, then you don't know nuthin' 'bout no arts anyhow.

Of all the terrific elements that comprise your blog-- the best part is easily the ongoing saga of little 'Lissy-Lou'. Hope you'll continue to share these heart-warming anecdotes in the coming year.
Here's wishing you and yours a very Merry Christmas, and an even better 2008!
