I think I know what he's trying to say, he's talking about traditions here so I won't pick on him too much, but, he just said it...wrong. I have news for him, white people love fried chicken. And if a great black cook and a great white cook served me fried okra, collard greens with bacon and good old southern fried chicken, I wouldn't be able to tell the difference and neither would he. Black people don't own soul food any more than white people own inherited bad dancing skills (though they might own the "soul" moniker attached). Maybe I'm naive, but, these days the only difference between white folks and black folks seems to be hair products, the purchase of SPF sunscreens and, well, we don't name our kids CAAN-YAY. We prefer Apple and Pilot Inspektor.

"Black" credit? Could he have said a worse thing? Thats a dis to his own people. Millions of wealthy black live in this country & live in mansions & drive Bentleys. All black people aren't dead-beats that run out on their bills, alot of white people do that too! It happens! & white food? Whats his deal? I doubt any of the establishments he hangs out in LA serve up heaping servings of soul food! He probably eats haute cuisine & sushi all the time. He's rich & wants to flaunt it. In my opinion, what i think he meant by "black credit" is a throw back to the 50's where blacks were very discriminated against, and a black man couldnt get credit simply because he was black, didnt matter if he had a job, or was able to pay back the credit, and the white man was given credit because he was white. Thats my take on it.
I think ":Black credit" means that he's a guy that doesn't pay his bills & doesn't have a regular,steady job. Like a crummy vredit rating added to the fact that he is black = a "black Credit" rating, which is a bad thing, so he wants a "WHITE" credit rating. WTF? He is living in the past & needs to catch up.
