Orlando Bloom painted his LA mansion black, and reports are that neighbors including Charlize Theron and Scarlett Johannson are pissed about it. I doubt it...they're never home anyhow. And I don't give a shit what he lives in or where...however, I do like the black. It seems to fit into the environment really well. I just like looking at pics of cool houses, feel free to send me some. If they're yours I'll post them.

You can't hardly even see the house anyway. So who should even care? I think it looks cool. It makes the house almost invisible. Good idea! You KNOW he sure didn't think of it! I like.

Maybe he should have painted his house a deep green like the trees around his house, that would have looked cool too. But it looks unobtrusive and not ostentatious so feathers to him for at least using all his dollars to give the neighborhood something tasteful to aspire to, beats all those other monuments to fame and fortune that you see amongst the Tom's and Posh's etc.
I think it looks pretty damn cool too.. looks like it's supposed to be like that!

The black fence works with the shadings of the tree trunks and DD is right, works with the enviroment.
I doubt his house is black though. But even if it was, who cares he owns it and its behind a massive wall lol not exactly a neighbourhood eyesore.
my neighbors (well the 2 who get their panties in a bunch over ANYTHING) complained that i had chipped/peeling paint on my house--true, but so do THEY.....but i was ordered by the city to paint it....so i did....lavendar with mint green trim!! (my neighbors tried to get the city to make me change the color because they didn't like it, but the city said they don't dictate such things).....
in the spring i am going to have random white dots painted on my house and i'm going to have my new fence (to keep said neighbors off my property) painted the color of orange sherbert.....
i love my house color and i have my bitchy neighbors to thank for that! :)

My house is taupe, white trim and garage doors. Our "kerazy" neighbor across the street painted his house "buff" and added mahogany garage doors.(GORGEOUS!!) My next door neighbors whose house is "tan" freaked out and called "The Association" complaining that the "contrast of buff and mahogany was too striking". Miss Tia your neighbors sound pretty decent, don't clown them. You want assholes? Come to CA!! I had an inflatable Snoopy Claus on my yard and I know "they" stole it, I got a note on my door stating that my Gawdamned Snoopy was "in poor taste", along with a number to call for financial compensation to replace the missing "lawn structure..."wtf?? We just moved here to Stepford and its getting pretty strange...
my neighbors sound decent???? the stupid fat whore across from me stood on her porch with chipped/peeling paint and claimed that my minor chipped paint on my window frames was affecting the health of her children! she would walk up to my windows and LOOK IN THEM!!! she reports to neighbors what i take in my house---including groceries!! "Tia bought 2 cases of water"....
when i had my house painted lavendar with mint green trim, she complained to the city that my house color affected the health of her children...the city told her 'have a nice day we don't care'....

A lavender & mint green house? That sound nauseating. It's a scientific fact that lavender is nauseating to most people. But if you like it, then w/e. Sounds like a carnival to me or a "Fortune Tellers" house! LOL! Miss Tia we love you babe. Enjoy your purple polka-dotted house with gusto! Do you have lots of lawn gnomes too? I love them. i live on a dead end, so no one can really see my house....i wouldn't care anywhere....i LOVE lavendar....i'm painting most of my indoor rooms that too....except the kitchen is going to be ORANGE, fuschia, yellow and turqoise....
PS---i like to say i'm a 'colorful person'....i'm punny that way...
