Reader Miss Tia sent us this cool pic of her house. When her neighbors got uppity and complained about the chipping paint she decided to do it up in lavender and green. That tickled the Hell outta me and it looks good too. It fits the style of the house and it's whimsical. She also furthered her rebellious statement by flying a pirate flag full time.

Tia says next will be.."white random polka dots will be painted in the spring and my fence will be painted the color of orange sherbert." I LOVE it and can't wait for those photos. It looks like happy fairy creatures live there.

DD got the word right "whimsical"....as i told my one neighbor who was bitching that my house color was creating a blight in the neighborhood (he gets his panties in a bunch over anything little thing)...i told him i have a sense of whimsy and am not afraid to use it!
