It amazes me how much freedom kids now have to act dumb, and that's in general. When I was 15 I wasn't even allowed to go to my best friend's sweet 16 party without my dad giving me a lecture and being insufferable. Party started at 10pm he was there to pick me up at 11:30pm. Oh boy I would never hear the end of it. Not saying that I didn't have fun in high school, being a teen I did find my way, but my dad is such a paranoid parent even till now that my brother and I are past 30. My mom was always more flexible but she was still paranoid.
But you know what? I am thankful we were kept with such a short string when we were teens, because at least they took the time to sit down and talk to us about what's good and what's not and about being responsible, and boy that was a hecuba tough talk, which gave us the base in which to build our adulthood, unlike many other parents these days who can't grow a pair and let their bottle sucking pooped ass pre-teens and teens rule their lives.

Get off her shit people, shes no different than any other girl her age, Im 48 and had my daughter when i was 17, and we grew up together to be the best of friends. Give her credit for keeping the baby and not running off and having an abortion! But of course we wouldnt hear about that then would we? She just happens to be a celebrity, thats why shes judged so harshly..at least shes taking responsibility for her actions! Yes she is old enough to know about contraception, I was too, but you always have the mentality of "it wont happen to me"..Dont judge somebody until youve walked a mile in their shoes people...
