Will someone please tell me wtf is wrong with Amy Winehouse's hands?? It looks like she's been punching bricks.

I love her voice....she is incredibly gifted...and the other poster is right, she does sing her pain...with her voice she could be making records singing christmas carols, standards, etc but instead she sings songs that mean something to her....
very unique and true 'artist'....i hope she survives....

I just love Amy's music, just like I loved Janice's...I have a feeling Miss Winehouse will not be with us for very much longer and this makes me very sad. She will never reach her full potential as a singer and what a shame that is. Addiction is a horrible illness...
geez!!! amy!!! with christmas and all that i'd completely forgotten about her. so she made it through the yuletide!!! will she make it through to 2008? its one day at the time with her. i started off such a fan, totally in love with her voice, buying her CD and now look, its all tears. i don't really hold much hope for her, she will probably go down with joplin, hendrix, curtis, nichole-smith, can't see things getting better. callous though that may seem.
the sores on the knuckles are due to history of bulimia. she forces her fingers down her throat and scrapes the knuckles on her teeth. if you are bulimic long enough, one or two fingers don't do the trick, you need the whole hand, or other objects. she's in a bad way.
