Sorry about the lack of posts after the Aniston penis thang..but, I was blogging and I went down like a sack of taters. I don't think I passed out, it was more like irresistible sleep. My head went down right here on the desk and I started half dreaming crazy stuff. I thought I went to a gas station to buy lemonade and high fashion boots, but, when I got to the counter the clerk told me I couldn't buy the boots because Lindsay Lohan had a "copywrite" on them. I was so mad, then I went outside and there's The Blow snowboarding up and down main street in a bikini and her bug glasses. Just showing off. I tried to ignore her but she flipped me off, so I was heading over to knock her off her snowboard when I woke up and realized..I was having some kind of blood sugar problem. Geeez.

I am so lame..anyhow, I ate some yogurt and that cleared my head and vision instantly, but, I did go get checked out. I had to do that thing I hate doing...call for help. I've heard of diabetics going down like that, but, I thought they must be people who don't do what they should or are just careless. I guess it's no joke, but, the Lindsay thing was pretty funny. I am A-OK now, and the doc ordered me one of those blood monitoring thingys. The good news is..I DID NOT CALL DR. PHIL. I don't hate The Blow and I don't need boots. But, I'm gonna take it easy today if that's okay with you guys.

get better. I have a disease that hits me like that & I'm down! It's my inner ear disease. can't walk, talk, eat, all I do is vomit & wanna sleep in a dark room for about 2 days! So, I totally understand. Are you diabetic, or they not sure yet? I'm sorry DD. Get better & we will wait to hear from you again.

Take care DD. I am assuming you are diabetic?? I have a good friend who is and has been for many years, and every so often (but rarely) her blood sugar goes out of wack even though she really takes care of herself. Hope the moniter kit helps.
Take all the time you need, your health is what is important. We'll be here whenever you feel well enough to continue blogging.

Don't know what's going on with the Disher. Talked to her two days ago after she had her episode and needed to go to the hospital. She said she was tired was all. They had a bunch of storms down that way again and it's possible her power got knocked out as happens quite frequently. I'm sure she'll post here as soon as she can.
Miss Tia...we think that because she did go to the hospital when she became ill and we were afraid that maybe she was back there again. Just wondering...Anyway, thanks Crabbie for the info. I'm sure she is fine & maybe is w/o power. Gawd! Not again!! DD-Get better, we all miss you!

Nadine- Just want to add my Thanks to the growing list of grateful "dish-o-philes". I think we'll all sleep easier knowing she's okay. (although a days-long power outage is hell)
And I completely agree with Miss Tia. Dish is far more than a celebrity gossip blogger and delightful diversion-- for many of us, she's a friend.

Now that we know DD is okay, let me be the first to say that she must be going fucking crazy with no internet.
We've all lost power in the cold before...and it just becomes a camping adventure: You stay warm with a kerosene heater, you eat can/box food, etc., but you don't have the internet and that's always the worst.
You know she's just itching to get back online. Well, DD, at least you know you are well loved!!!
Glad too to read that it is just the storms causing you not to be here DD. Sooooo glad your health is on the ups and you will get back here as soon as possible.

Anon 1:55. I don't think DD would stop writing for good without giving us a notice about it. I think she will be back. We just need to give her time to go through whatever it is that is going on.

Power wouldn't be off in winter all this time so it's safe to say theres something more going on.
Wether she's taken ill and needs some down time or has some other personal issue, with family maybe,to deal with, either way i'm sure DD will be back even if it's only to leave a message when she's able.

We all wish the best for DD. Having been gone this long, the task of dishing the dirt from the past may seem a bit overwhelming. I vote that she just not feel obligated to report on the shenanigans of B, P or L during her absence. That oughta take off some of the heat of catching up. Besides, it's been refreshing for this reader to know nothing of those overexposed dum-dums for the last week. I read DD because she's hilarious. For me all those entitled stars-in-their-minds-only just serve as the delivery device for her humor. Kind of like the relationship between celery and peanut butter. You know what I mean.
