No good pictures today for me

All I got today were blurry pictures of Lissa slamming doors in my face and the back of her ponytail. Some days are like that..she acts like I'm the paparazzi and she's Lindsay Lohan drinking. So I gave up and we had a tea party. I don't wanna get all mushy, but, she was so cute pouring pretend tea and sugar and declaring it all "dee-weeshus" that my heart just got bigger. So, I told her she was Gramma's precious sweet girl and the best girl in the world. Big mistake. She said "You think so." It wasn't a question. She took off and flushed her glasses down the toilet. They didn't go all the way down so I fished 'em out and they weren't even bent. Geeez. I know she looks old enough to act better, but, she's only three..she's just kind of tall and skinny. When will I learn to shut up and enjoy rare moments?

Sure do love those Lissa stories-- they always make my day.

Is she your daughter or your grand daughter? I'm lost... Who's Lissa?

I'm puzzled as to what triggered the reaction? I haven't kept up with the plot, sorry...

that's funny....tell her to flush the tea cakes next time, not her glasses!

or explain that 'ladies' don't act like that at the tea table...

A glasses-flusher! Watch out!

Dish,
One of my fondest memories is of my "G-Ma" and I having little tea parties for two. As I grew, we began having actual "tea", with all the accoutrements. She taught me so much, but the things I cherish most were those invaluable "little extras".

She's gone now, but those "tea party" memories really stand out and they'll be with me always. I think it's terrific that Lissa will also be able to look back on practicing "being a lady" with her own Grandma! Enjoy <3

She's a gorgeous little gal and I agree she looks older than 3. I love hearing about her antics. It is so great that you seem to spend a lot of time with her. The picture of her little tea party was just precious and I love your table!
Don't you just love being a grandmother? I sure do!

The Britney Spears tee shirt is making me laff! Your grandaughter is a baby doll. Cute story.

Oh my gosh she is so tall. I remember the first photos of her, she's still adorable and children with attitude are the BEST!!!!

That made my morning! It even got me out the pissy funk I've been in since Sunday night! (Holiday over)
It does make me miss when my daughter was that age and stayed home with me all day. Her thing was to take toilet paper and tear it into tiny bits and spread it all over the house, pretending it was snow.
