RIP Heath

Heath Ledger was an incredible talent who chose his career moves based on playing roles that were challenging rather than settling for being just another Hollywood hunk. My favorite Heath movie is Candy (played by Abbie Cornish). I loved him in it, so there's some pictures.

I'm tired of the speculation concerning his passing already. All I know for sure is his parents say is was an accident and he was sick with pneumonia when he died and that he possibly took too many sleeping pills. I can see how that could happen. It's just so incredibly sad.

Such a horrible tragedy. I feel terrible for his family, esp. his daughter, having to grow up without her dad is gonna be so hard, esp. when he was such a good one to her. I'm still in shock by this.

It's heartbreaking, it really is.

It's times like this that I really hate the media. The poor guy wasn't even dead for a day and they're dragging up "experts" to figure out why he died - which really means throw out all kinds of wild speculation for the sake of getting a bigger audience. For f*@#s sake - just wait for the autopsy!

This makes me so sad, I think he was one of the few real talents in young Hollywood. I always looked forward to his movies and, at least for me, he never disappointed. RIP Heath. :*(

I am really heartbroken over this. I can't get over it. And I agree with Lara, the media is making this a "story" for money rather than a tribute to a great life lost.

Well, I can't really blame the press for its coverage of a celebrity death.
It occurred under suspicious circumstances, after all.
The press is there for the money, and even though it is controlled by the powers that be, it still needs to generate income.
At least nobody picked up his head and placed it on the fender for a photo.

This is shocking & disturbing news. If it wasn't on the news. Everybody'd be saying "why aren't they talking about it"? So, I wanna know & I will follow the story. Own all his DVD's & loved the guy. He was amazing. Sooo young & a new father. he was fab.and super cool guy.

I heard too the autospy will take another 10 days to complete as the prelimiary one wasn't complete enough.

It seems like it was an accidental death and as we all know when we are not feeling well, our wits are not 100% and unfortunately it seems like he just took too many sleeping pills - so very sad.
