Stardust.....if we're going to talk about 2007 movies

Much hyped and big star names...this film bored the shit out of me. It's my pick for things best avoided in the old year. It had the potential of being really beautifully filmed, but, wasn't and everyone was magical. A bag of tricks doesn't impress anyone if everyone has one. The hero dumps Sienna Miller for the equally good looking, but, never quite A listed Claire Danes..who played a star. An actual star that fell out of the sky. Yeah, okay, she glowed, she still wasn't as cute as Sienna. Michelle Pfeiffer played ugly..that was a stretch, but, not enough to keep my attention. The saving grace was Robert De Niro who was friggin' wet your pants funny as a closeted gay sea captain.

So, that's my pick of crap movie of 2007...unless I think of something I was more bored with, but, I'm kind of senile.

Did you see Sienna in Factory Girl? It got really bad reviews, but I enjoyed it and thought she did a good job (I'm not a great fan of hers). I guess I liked it because it gave a glimpse of life at the famous Factory with Andy Warhol. I guess she was his fag hag and I really can't help but wonder why Dylan tried to have the film canned because he came out smelling roses and quite sane and insightful in terms of how he perceived that scene to be. But yeah I am in love with Bob he's such hot intellectual muso.

OMG..crabbie sent me that movie and I'll love him forever for it. I watched it over and over. I love Sienna..I adored Edie and worship Andy. It's awesome. Fark the critics.

Oh, love Dylan too. Poor Edie. Poor Andy. Awww. Oh hey, if you loved Factory Girl get your hands on the movie "Basquiat"..it's about Jean-Michel Basquiat and his friendship with Andy. It's one one the best movies I've ever seen.

will do! i'll let you know of any other good movies. got hold of a dvd for tonight called 'black book' by paul verhoeven. watched the latest woody allen last night wish scarlett johansen. it was a bit light but i loved the idea of the barge captained by the grim reaper carrying all the dead people. its was a nice touch and very woody, i thought.

as for Edie, there are a lot of them around aren't there, perhaps not as beautiful and interesting but equally stuffed up.

Definitely not the best movie I've ever seen but I thought it was sorta cute. I do agree about De Niro stealing the show.
