She sounds like that from her heavy smoking. It is annoying & she seems very forced & fake. Ever since she lost weight & got skinny, she has lost her sparkle she once had. She's probably on drugs. I'm serious, she really has changed in her demeanor. I liked the old Ashley back in the day.
what I seem to notice is that all she cared about was looking at the audiance, which to me is just an attention seaker. She couldn't have cared less where she was, so long as she was in the spotlight.

I totally agree, anon 10:05-- She comes across very forced and fake in her interviews these days.
Not to perpetuate the rumors, but I too believe she's on some type of mind-altering god-knows-what.
In any case, the "Ashley" we saw that night she was TMZ'd shit-faced and belligerent in McDonald's is the "Ashley" *I'll* remember with fondness.
