Larry Birkhead sold out his kid to ET. He took her to visit her moms grave on the anniversary of her moms death and sold the vids to ET. He didn't think ET would run parts of the film, but, they did. I saw Dannielynn pitching a royal hissy and bawling her eyes out because she had no clue where she was or what she was doing there. She just wanted her baba or something. Then Larry managed to calm her down and kept whispering things to her until she looked confused and muttered "mama."

Shame on you Larry..I used to like you, now I think you're not much better than Vergie, who emails celeb sites and offers to fly to the Bahamas to pose at Anna's grave for money. It's sickening.

At the age that little Dannielynn is, she wouldn't grasp the magnitude of what was going on, so I agree that he only did it for the publicity and the money, and he should be ashamed of himself.

Thats what i thought all along @ how he was getting Danilynn to say mama, when i saw the promos for it on ET.
I still think the kid would have been better off with the other guy.

Better off with Howard??? No way! Larry is her real dad at least. With Howard she would already have her own reality show. This is not good tho. He can go there and visit Anna's grave, thats true. He should do things like that discreetly & quietly & in private with dignity. But if he needs money that bad, the man needs to secure viable employment. I mean. Brits dad sells ice cream & caters. Thats not a glam job by far! Thats damn hard work. Men should work & support their children, not the other way around.
Virgie is a trailer-trash pig. & Anna knew it. She's made some cash off Anna's death too. How sad is that. Look at the pic just above this one, of Heath Ledger's father. Read the comments. What a difference being good people makes!

This entire situation is just so beyond revolting. Among the many allegations that surfaced after Anna Nicole's death, it was discovered that Dannielynn's nurse had already given sworn testimony that Anna had ordered her to under-feed Dannielynn-- because she wanted her baby to "be slim and SEXY". WTF?!!
And once Anna was removed from the equation, I too, felt that since Birkhead was her bio dad-- and was obviously crazy about the child-- it was the best for her. And wouldn't he have her best interests at heart?
However, since being awarded custody it's just been one money-making venture after another. I recall that during the custody battle he made it clear that his intentions were "to take Dannielynn and go home to Kentucky" where she would "be surrounded by his large and loving family", and his mother would "be there to assist in her care." Yet before you could say "Hooray for Hollywood", he and Dannielynn were comfortably ensconced in Anna Nicole's former LA home, and he was selling photo op's to all comers with deep pockets.
And what of his former career as a photographer? The closest Larry's been to a camera these days is when he's posing with the baby on his knee. And GOD... those pap photos taken around town when he's out with her! Ever notice how he holds that child? You'd expect that when the paps are ~swarming~ he'd hold her protectively and reassuringly in his arms... but he holds her perched on his forearm-- away from his body and facing towards the camera!
It's like he's the organ grinder and she's a trained monkey! Drop a coin in her little cup...
So what other options did Dannielynn really have?
It's pretty much common knowledge that Howard K. Stern is about as low as it gets. Within hours of Anna's death he was brokering deals with all the tabloid shows-- and for serious money. Ugh, and those images of his "dry sobbing" in those early interviews! That man would have sold Anna's death-bed photos, if possible... Hell, he'd sell his own MOTHER'S death-bed photos for the right price!
Then we have "Gramma Virgie". As if her child-rearing history doesn't speak for itself, she's proven her true motives in the past year with her non-stop scheming for cash. And don't think for one minute that she's hurting for money. The woman is a retired police officer on a fat pension of over three-thousand dollars a month! Clearly her attempts towards profiting from Anna Nicole's death are motivated by GREED, pure and simple.
Yeah, it's a sad case alright-- When from birth your entire life is a downhill slide into pain and heartache. What chance does that poor baby have of a normal life... unless by some miracle she ends up being raised by a nice, little anonymous family somewhere in Podunk.
And still, it could get worse. Just my opinion, but I believe that if she is awarded the much-litigated Marshall money, her childhood will pale in comparison with her adult years.
