Marilyn Monroe may have been a trainwreck, but Lohan couldn't hold a candle to Monroe's beauty, femininity, and vulnerability that came through *loud and clear* in both her film work as well as her photographs. The woman died 45 years ago-- and she's still a treasured icon to millions.
I've seen the entire set of "Lohan does Monroe" photographs by Bert Stern. LL's a washed-up has-been at 21 and has the face of a 40 year old. Using her to recreate the MM "Last Sitting" photos was a travesty. Bert Stern knows it. And everyone who sees the photos knows it too.
I detect a lot of jealousy in these responses. Most of you would love to have her looks and talent. Barrymore had her problems and got the same wrath from the jealous group....and now look at her SHE IS ON TOP
Lack of femininity, no curves, no sensuality, no air of vulnerability; her attempt fell flat, but I can't think of any current tartlet who could do a good Marilyn.
