Paul Revere and the Raiders performed live on the Sump'n Else TV show, on WFAA-TV, Channel 8, in Dallas, back in 1965 or 1966...I watched it, but I forget exactly when it aired.
I say performed...they took over the show...and they were funny.
They introduced their new song, Kicks.
It was a very good hour of teen tv.
They had sparkling personalities.
WFAA chose to save a couple of bucks by recording over the tapes they made of those shows.
A lot of good stuff was lost, including Love's 7 + 7 Is and a full hour of Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention.
Here is a Wikipedia article about the show:

OMG! That was so great! I may have even watched that when it was on TV the 1st time! Long time ago. I still like them & that song. The 2 other guys hopping up & down crack me up. Mark is fab tho. He still melts me! How about the pie pans hanging everywhere? Low budget show. How funny. I love it. The girls are cute & so 60's! Gotta love 'em. Thank you DD. I LOVED that!!! Didn't it take you back???

Dish, thanks for posting this. I loved it and it made my day.

The Go-Go girls were such a hoot, and yes, the Goldie Hawn wanna-bee was pretty obvious. The brunette on the far left seemed just a tad old for that gig and her moves were hilarious. She looked like Ann Miller... (well, she *was* a dancer) LOL
