Reader Volker sent in these cute guinea pig photos. You know what? I think they're adorable. My daughter has them too and she loves her pigs. Volker also sent that pic of a model of the 'Marktkirche' Germany's largest all-wood-church and the whole thing is made of..sugar! That's cool!

If i had a fraction of the paitence it took to make that sugar church id be headed in the right direction. However I fear im doomed lol.
the model was made by 'the' baker in town - and it was much easier to photograph it than the original.
Especially now that the bell tower is gone....
