Diablo Cody ended up winning the best sceenplay Oscar (Juno) but, she was livid over the million dollar fugs. She refused the shoes saying she would not be "whored out" by some designer who was using her to shlep his stuff. BUT, the designer Stuart Weitzman says SHE called him and helped design them. Somebodys pants are on fire here. I like a woman who'll buy her own damn shoes, but, why would a dude put a million in diamonds on a shoe and then pick someone who's not exactly a household name to wear them?

Stars make millions and millions for a few weeks or months work..they need to buy their own gowddamn gowns and jewels instead of being draped in free swag. It makes me tired. And designers need to stand on the merit of their runway creations, not whore out red carpets. Y'all suck. You suck so bad that if you sucked anymore it would say Hoover on your sucky heads.

Methinks Diablo Cody definitely asked Weitzman to do special shoes for her "big moment"--- and then she didn't like the results. Hence, the fray.
Now, what I don't get is that since the only special part of those shoes were the "diamond brooches"--- couldn't they have just been PINNED onto other shoes??! Maybe, shoes she actually LIKED? Hmmmm?
Oh, and Stuart? You can "whore me out" annnnytime. Bring on the shooooes!
