Britney Spears has done so many bizarre things in the last year that I was finding it hard to even make a joke about her craziness. BUT..she really does well working with children in her dance class. It's become a regular event at The Millennium Studio, and her classes have about 15 little students in each one.

Five-year-old, Elissa Bouganim, who has taken three classes with Brit, “I like Britney. Today, first we were dancing slow, and then faster and faster … Then we did the fish-move and lots of other fun things. Britney is nice. I want to dance with Britney all the time because it’s so much fun.”

I think it's awesome and despite what we've seen lately, she does know a thing or three about dance. She should start her own kids dance studio and call it her new career. I'll bet she'd make more millions doing something she likes and is good at. You go, Brit. You have no idea how good it feels to be able to write something positive about this chick for a change.

Is it just me, or is there a problem here? She lost custody of her own two boys, and can't even visit them without major supervision. I think the whole thing is appalling. Some of the little ones she's "teaching" are going to grow up wanting to be "just like Britney"...the implications are way too scary! I have a really, really hard time imagining 5 year olds learning to skank-dance like Britney Spears.

I was skeptical too, at first..but the kids parents are with them and they all say she does a great job with their kids.
I'm not entirely convinced, DD, but if she can do something useful with her life, then good for her. I just hope this celebrity teacher business doesn't become a trend. I can just see it now: Hair & Makeup with Amy Winehouse, Guitar 101 from Pete Doherty, Fashion Tips from the Olsen Twins, Paris Hilton Teaches Etiquette, and Learn Parenting Skills with JLo and Skeletor.
