Happy Milk Chocolate!

I don't know how your house looks today, but, if you have kids, I'll bet it looks like mine. I hate my carpet and that's okay, because I haven't seen it all day. That sneaky bunny was here and left so much crap you can't walk. Lissa had Kit Kats for breakfast, Herseys for lunch and chocolate bunnies and Reeses for snacks. She entertained herself by biting a bunny and screeching "OWWWWWW, my ears! Tee heeee!" (and feet, nose, eyeballs...gwoss.) I noticed one of the bunnies was just labeled, Happy Milk Chocolate! There's a sign of the times, eh? Seems right to me. It matters little if you think this is when Jesus rose from his crypt or if the Christians stole the date from the Pagans Spring Equinox celebration, it all boils down to loading your kid up with sugar, stuffed animals and cheap trinkets then dressing them in fancy clothes you can't afford so you can take a photo before they destroy everything.

Insane Easter/Ostara fact...I just read that rabbits can get pregnant while they are already pregnant! There's a fertility symbol..and a suicidal mother rabbit. At least they don't have to stuff 50 plastic eggs full of sugar and toys every year.

So, another Spring may be on the way, it's snowing and sleeting here, we couldn't even take outside photos and she wouldn't pose anyhow. She acted goofy and took off the cute new shoes and put on her sneakers...on the wrong feet. And had to wear a coat, but, she had a blast. She went home with one pony tail out and hanging, crazy shoes, a chocolate hand print on the skirt of her new dress and three bags stuffed with loot. She looked like a tomboy pirate hauling her booty. When I begged for one decent photo, she told me not to be an "ass monkey." I do not know what that is, a stupid head or a monkey who comes out of your butt, but, I'm pretty sure I am not an ass monkey. I am the Ostara Bunny, damn it. That's one thing you know, for sure, about children, you get no credit for anything until they get old enough to figure it all out. By that time, I'll probably be long gone, but, I'll still be laughing. Ass Monkey, indeed.

Happy Milk Chocolate to all of you. I hope you have a great day. :)

Oh she is so pretty dressed up in her pretty Easter clothes. She looks so serious in the pic where your dyeing the eggs, like a little lab technician. Adorable,(if messy LOL) little angel.
