From JustJared...The 21 actress explained how she took oxygen hits and how she was positioned before jumping out of the plane in tandem.
“Basically, I’m sitting in a guy’s lap,” she said giggling.
Letterman joked, “That’s one of the reasons why I would not [skydive].”
Kate laughed, “My boyfriend did, however!”

She even managed a smile and a thumbs up. She's still weird and not funny. You know what the oddest thing about jumping from a plane is? No sounds. Once the plane takes off and leaves you in the sky..there is no noise. It's too high for birds, and after your 'chute opens, you hear...nothing. It's the only place in the world I've ever heard total silence. I recommend everyone try it at least once. It's safer than driving around with Richie Sambora.

so...whos her BF? Did she say? Not like I care but she did date Orlando, so I'm just curious.
You have lived the life, haven't you! You never cease to amaze me.

Snorkeling is also beautifully silent. You see fish with amazing color combinations and the little ones brush your skin with their tiny Lisa Rinna's (lips). And you don't have far to fall.
jumping out of a plane is exciting. It not the jump that scares you, its the landing that is scary
Yeah, that last 100 feet is rough, but, when I did it they didn't have the fancy chutes they have now that land you on your feet. It was BAM..hips, knees, ankle..roll. I want to take it up again with the new equpiment.
I hear it's hundreds of dollars to jump just one time. Is that true? I heard $500.
